Mobile Toilets in Beijing Scenic Areas
Mobile toilets in Beijing scenic areas are mainly divided into two categories: conventional mobile toilets and tent-style toilets.

Conventional Mobile Toilets: These come in a variety of types, covering different functions and price ranges. For example, styles such as mobile toilet rentals, event toilet rentals, finished public toilets, marathon mobile toilet rentals, single and connected units, are priced at 1900.0 yuan; mobile color-steel restrooms (waterless, suitable for temporary construction sites) are priced at 760.0 yuan; large-scale ecological restrooms (suitable for urban scenic areas, with a two-pit design) cost up to 27000.0 yuan; park eco-friendly toilets (using microbial degradation technology and prefabricated structures) are priced at 8599.0 yuan; urban smart toilets (energy-saving, water-saving, with water circulation systems) are priced at 12500.0 yuan; microbial degradation eco-toilets (smart waterless, with sewage treatment functions) are priced at 5900.0 yuan; Beijing park public toilets (using microbial ecological technology) are priced at 9500.0 yuan; Tangshan mobile eco-friendly toilets (made of color-steel for construction sites, with a simple structure) are priced at 1500.0 yuan; Beijing Tongzhou toilets (foam-flush, foam-sealed, zero-emission design) are priced at 6520.0 yuan. These toilets achieve environmental protection, water conservation, or convenient mobility through different technologies and are suitable for scenic areas, construction sites, event venues, and other scenarios.
Tent-Style Toilets: Characterized by flexible setup and dismantling, they adopt a modular design. For instance, during the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War on September 3, 2025, tent-style toilets were set up in crowded areas such as the east side of the Great Hall of the People and the west side of the National Museum of China. In 2026, after upgrading the tent-style toilets in the Tiananmen area, Beijing Environmental Sanitation Group combined flame-retardant tent soft materials with stainless steel and aluminum alloy hard structures. The external wall panel width was increased from 1 meter to 2 meters, and diamond mesh screens were added. In terms of functional configuration, a total of 142 squatting positions, 5 accessible toilet positions, and 128 urinal positions were set up. The height of the squatting position partitions was increased from 1.1 meters to 1.8 meters, independent partitions were added to the urinal troughs, and each toilet position was equipped with new convenience facilities such as handrails, coat hooks, and storage racks, as well as occupied/unoccupied status indicators. The accessible restrooms were equipped with toilets, safety handrails, tissue boxes, and SOS alarm buttons. For odor control, efficient ventilation was achieved through a shared long platform for 6 toilet positions, integrating ceramic fixtures, drainage trough cover seal rings, roof axial fans, and silent exhaust fans at the base of the squatting positions. These toilets are suitable for temporary needs such as large-scale events and peak tourist periods in scenic areas.
