Beijing Foam-Sealing Mobile Toilet

Admin October 05, 2026

The Beijing foam-sealing mobile toilet is a public sanitation facility that achieves efficient water conservation and environmentally friendly treatment through the technology of 'foam sealing combined with microbial synergistic treatment'. Its technical principles and performance characteristics are as follows:

1. Foam-Sealing Technology Principle
A foaming device is installed inside the toilet bowl. Through a micro air pump, biodegradable surfactants (such as fatty acid salts) and a small amount of water (50-100 milliliters per use) are vigorously whipped to generate dense micron-sized foam. The surface tension of the foam liquid film is extremely low, allowing it to quickly wrap around feces and form a 3-5 centimeter thick barrier, blocking the diffusion of odors (such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia) and preventing disease vectors from coming into contact with excreta, thereby reducing the risk of intestinal infectious disease transmission. This technology replaces traditional water flushing with physical sealing, consuming only 50-100 milliliters of water per use, saving over 90% of water compared to traditional toilets, with some products achieving a water-saving rate of up to 98%.

2. Full-Chain Excreta Treatment Process

  • Solid-Liquid Separation: After the foam-wrapped feces slide into the collection tank, solid residues are separated from the foamy liquid through grilles and filters.
  • Microbial Degradation: The liquid is pumped to a reaction chamber, where salt-tolerant and low-temperature-resistant microbial communities (such as Bacillus and yeast) decompose urea and organic acids into nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and water. After 6-8 hours, the chemical oxygen demand drops to below 200 milligrams per liter, meeting the water quality standards for urban miscellaneous water and allowing for recycling in foaming.
  • Solid Resource Utilization: The residues are dried and compressed using low-grade waste heat (40-50°C), reducing the moisture content to below 20%, shrinking the volume to one-tenth of the original, with an organic matter content of 45%-55% and a carbon-to-nitrogen ratio of 10-15, making them directly usable for soil improvement.

3. Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency
This technology achieves zero sewage discharge, with liquid recycling and solid residue resource utilization. The equipment operates on DC12V power with a rated power of 30W, consuming only 0.15 kilowatt-hours per 1000 uses. The toilet fixtures are made of 304 stainless steel, suitable for environments ranging from -40°C to 50°C, with a long service life. The low-voltage design prevents electric shock risks, and infrared detection devices ensure stable foam height and reliable sealing effects.

4. Product Types and Application Scenarios
These include foaming sit-down toilets (such as the FP-109 model, suitable for scenic areas and gardens), unit numerically controlled foaming squat toilets (such as the FP-101 model, with automatic foaming for water conservation), integrated foaming squat toilets (such as the FP-106 model, suitable for mobile toilets), and waterless urinals (such as the ABJ-2014 model, with zero water consumption). Concentrated foaming agents in 500ml bottles and large 20kg containers are provided to meet different scale needs. Currently, this technology has been widely applied in urban sanitation, tourist attractions, highway service areas, and institutions such as schools and hospitals.
