Bazhou Scenic Area Mobile Toilets

Admin October 07, 2026

The construction of mobile toilets in Bazhou scenic areas is gradually improving, influenced by factors such as policy promotion, government procurement, and supporting construction in protected areas.

Policy Promotion Clarifies Construction Requirements

The "Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture Cultural Tourism Promotion Regulations," which came into effect on January 1, 2026, have set clear requirements for the construction of mobile toilets in scenic areas. The regulations emphasize that "5A-level supporting facilities" should follow the scenic spots, including mobile toilets and other facilities. This means that during the planning and construction process of scenic areas in Bazhou, mobile toilets must be included as important supporting facilities to meet the basic needs of tourists. Additionally, the regulations point out that shortcomings along national highways and expressways should be addressed simultaneously, with navigation systems providing toilet location information. This measure not only facilitates tourists' toilet needs during their travels but also enhances the overall image of tourism services in the Bazhou area, reflecting the importance and guidance of policies in tourism infrastructure construction.

Government Procurement Projects Facilitate Facility Upgrades

The Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture Culture, Sports, Radio, Television, and Tourism Bureau released a procurement intention for mobile toilets in March 2025. This action indicates that the government is actively promoting the construction and upgrading of mobile toilets in scenic areas. By conducting public procurement, the government aims to introduce high-quality mobile toilet products and services to improve the quality and quantity of mobile toilets in scenic areas. Government procurement projects are typically standardized and stringent, ensuring that the procured mobile toilets meet relevant standards and requirements, providing tourists with a more comfortable and hygienic toilet environment.

Supporting Construction in Protected Areas Enhances Ecological Services

The Altun Mountains National Nature Reserve Administration issued a competitive negotiation announcement for a supporting toilet construction project at temporary management points in September 2024, with a budget of 3.21 million yuan. The project not only includes the construction of supporting toilets but also involves mobile barracks, iron fences, and other facilities, with a contract fulfillment deadline of June 15, 2025. The construction of mobile toilets in the nature reserve meets the work needs of management personnel and also takes into account the toilet needs of tourists within the reserve. At the same time, reasonable supporting construction helps reduce the impact of human activities on the ecological environment of the reserve, reflecting the concept of combining ecological protection with tourism services.
