Battlefield Portable Toilet
The use of battlefield portable toilets and the principles for using the toilet on modern battlefields are as follows:

In garrisoned states, modern armies are usually equipped with dedicated portable toilets. These portable toilets have relatively good sanitary conditions and can provide officers and soldiers with a relatively comfortable and hygienic toilet environment. At the same time, temporary toilets are also set up in garrisoned areas. These temporary toilets are equipped with relatively advanced spray systems. This system can disinfect feces and then collect them centrally for further treatment, effectively avoiding problems such as fecal pollution of the environment and the possible spread of diseases, and ensuring the environmental hygiene of the garrisoned area and the health of officers and soldiers.
However, in special situations such as field operations, the situation is different. Due to the complexity and uncertainty of the field environment, portable toilets often cannot be used. In such cases, officers and soldiers can only use the primitive method—digging pits to use the toilet. But this method requires special attention to subsequent treatment, and the pits must be properly buried after use. This is because if feces are not buried, they will leave obvious traces and are easily detected by the enemy. Especially when the enemy is equipped with military dogs, even more caution is required. Military dogs have a keen sense of smell and can easily track the odor of human feces, thereby exposing the position and movement trajectory of our troops and bringing great danger to us.
In addition, regardless of the situation, the field troops of modern armies must strictly follow the principle of concealment and leaving no traces when using the toilet. This is to ensure the operational safety and strategic concealment of the troops and avoid exposing the deployment and operational intentions of the troops due to daily behaviors such as using the toilet. In a war environment, any minor negligence can lead to serious consequences, so even the seemingly ordinary act of using the toilet also needs to be carried out in strict accordance with military regulations and requirements.
