Construction

Twenty street-featured mobile "Easy Stations" have been installed in eight subdistricts of Bao'an District, Shenzhen, including Xin'an, Xixiang, and Shiyan, and are open to the public and tourists free of charge. They feature an integrated and convenient design, with the main structure utilizing modular prefabricated lightweight steel. Composed of 2 - 4 modular components that are hoisted into place, they can be built and put into use in just half a day, fully embodying the "small yet beautiful" construction concept.

Internal Facilities

• Smart Display: The internal screens can display real-time information such as the number of people using the toilets, available spaces, and environmental monitoring data, enabling citizens to understand toilet usage and plan their visits accordingly.
• Environmental Protection Technology: Advanced environmental protection technologies such as vacuum suction, microbial degradation, and air sterilization effectively address the odor issues and "not-in-my-backyard" (NIMBY) concerns associated with traditional toilets, creating a fresh and comfortable toilet environment for citizens.
• Human-Centric Design: Considering the needs of different groups, handrails are installed in the stalls for the convenience of those with mobility issues; a third toilet is added to meet the needs of special groups; and facilities such as children's sinks, accessible sinks, children's toilets, foldable baby seats, and foldable baby changing tables are provided, offering great convenience to parents with children.

External Facilities

The exterior is equipped with self-service vending machines, shared power banks, shared umbrellas, shared tissues, and worker's havens, among other convenience facilities. Citizens can meet their daily needs such as shopping, charging, and borrowing umbrellas while using the toilets, further enhancing the service functions of the "Easy Stations".

The "Easy Stations" incorporate Bao'an's landmark buildings into every corner of the space. The 55-inch LED screens on the exterior walls are eye-catching, serving not only as a means of publicity and display but also adding a beautiful landscape to the city.
