Aba Prefecture Park Portable Toilets
The portable toilets in Aba Prefecture parks feature diverse materials, user-friendly design, eco-friendly construction, reasonable layout, and gradual upgrades.

In terms of materials, the portable toilets in Aba Prefecture parks utilize a wide range of materials, including color-coated steel, stainless steel, carved panels, anti-corrosion wood, steel structures, and aluminum-plastic panels. Each material has its unique performance advantages. For example, stainless steel is sturdy and durable with strong corrosion resistance; anti-corrosion wood gives a natural and warm feeling, blending well with the park environment.
User-friendly design is a major highlight of the portable toilets in Aba Prefecture parks. They have spacious interiors, making them very convenient to use and allowing tourists to feel comfortable while using them. The roofs are made of highly transparent materials and are sealed and waterproofed, enabling natural lighting during the day, which is both eco-friendly and energy-saving. At the same time, they have strong UV resistance, are less likely to fade, and dirt does not adhere easily, making them relatively easy to clean. Moreover, the products are thick, safe, and sturdy. Additionally, the toilets are equipped with water tanks, offering high mobility and low dependence on external water sources.
In terms of eco-friendly construction, some villages in Aba Prefecture have piloted "eco-friendly portable toilets" that employ fecal-sewage separation technology to achieve wastewater resource utilization. Currently, over 300 eco-friendly portable toilets have been built around scenic spots. This initiative not only protects the natural environment but also enhances the tourist experience.
From the perspective of layout, with the vigorous development of tourism, portable toilets, as an important flexible supplement to public facilities, are gradually becoming popular and a standard feature in scenic spots in Aba Prefecture. These portable toilets are usually equipped with non-slip floors, ventilation systems, and deodorization devices, and some are even equipped with barrier-free facilities, fully considering the needs of different tourists.
In terms of upgrades, the local area is currently piloting cleaner and more eco-friendly toilets. If the pilot is successful, they will be promoted more widely. At the same time, the cultural and tourism department will collaborate with third parties to mark the locations of toilets in the prefecture on electronic maps to better serve tourists, aiming to achieve this goal within the next year.
