A Type of Mobile Toilet
A mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It is suitable for various places and has multiple types and advantages.

I. Basic Composition A mobile toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or disposal device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, moving device, etc. These components work together to ensure its normal operation and hygiene conditions.
II. Development History Initially, mobile toilets were made of materials such as wood, with simple structures and functions, and were prone to absorbing odors. With technological progress, they gradually evolved to use materials like fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene, which are more durable, easier to clean, and can effectively reduce odors.
III. Type Classification
- By structural form: They are divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets usually exist independently and are suitable for places with limited space; composite-structure toilets are composed of multiple units and can meet larger-scale usage needs.
- By moving method: They are divided into lifting and handling mobile toilets and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling types rely on external equipment for movement; powered and towed types have their own power or can be towed by vehicles, making movement more flexible.
- By sewage treatment method: They are divided into water-flush and waterless-flush suction types, circulating water-flush types, and dry-packing types. Water-flush types are similar to traditional toilets but require regular sewage cleaning; waterless-flush suction types use vacuum pumps to suck up feces; circulating water-flush types reuse water resources through filtration and disinfection systems; dry-packing types pack and dispose of feces without using water.
IV. Special Types
- Towed and Trailer-mounted Mobile Environmental Protection Smart Public Toilet: It is about two meters wide, uses a microbial degradation system, has a foaming position for each squatting position, and also has a management room and equipment room. It is suitable for places that need to be fixed for a long time but also require mobility.
- Folding Toilet: After being folded, it is only 90 centimeters high and can be transported by a pickup truck or a box truck. It is suitable for event sites, construction sites, and remote areas.
V. Advantages and Application Places Mobile toilets have advantages such as mobility, combinability, and ease of transportation. They are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, and densely populated public places, etc.
