Zhangjiang Creative Container House

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Zhangjiang creative container houses are mainly used for creating community public service spaces and creative office scenarios.

Application in Community Public Service Spaces

In the construction of the "15-minute living circle" in Yulanxiangyuan, Zhangjiang Town, to address issues such as low integration of young people and an imbalance in the supply of community service spaces, it is planned to utilize the idle area on the south side of the Jiangyi Residential Committee building. Waste containers will be transformed into a 24-hour "always-open" community CP-BOX (Partner Space), known as the "Yilifang" project. The exterior of the space is mainly orange, while the interior uses apple green as the primary color. The combination of "vibrant" orange and "striving" green reflects the mutual commitment of "the community being more friendly to young people and young people being more active in the community." The project revitalizes idle resources, compensates for the shortage of public service spaces, relies on shared "bases," and uses community "experts" as a starting point to attract young people to participate in community governance.

Application in Creative Office Scenarios

As a hub for technological innovation, Zhangjiang is home to a large number of freelancers, OPC enterprises, and digital nomads, creating a strong demand for flexible and creative office spaces. Container houses are widely used in creative office scenarios due to their modular, movable, and low-cost characteristics. For example, in the renovation case of the Zhangjiang Creative Internet Technology Office, designer Lu Weizhong participated in the design of a 600-square-meter container office space. Through structural modifications and interior renovations, the containers were transformed into fully functional office spaces. Additionally, Mingzhu Science and Technology Creative Industrial Park utilized the old railway tracks of the Songhu Railway Jiangwan Station to create a "Container Maker Corridor," introducing elements such as a miniature creative train model exhibition hall and a café converted from a train carriage, forming a public space that integrates sightseeing, research, leisure, and entertainment, demonstrating the potential of containers in the fusion of creative offices and culture.

Transformation Characteristics and Significance

The transformation of container houses in Zhangjiang focuses on combining functionality with creativity. Through the optimization of exterior colors and interior space layouts, traditional architectural forms are broken, creating a youthful and open spatial atmosphere. For example, the container space in Yulanxiangyuan uses an orange-green color scheme to convey vitality and a spirit of striving; the container-style buildings in Baoshan Zhihui Bay use a combination of blue, green, yellow, and orange to form an industrial-style "box space," attracting small and medium-sized technology and cultural and creative enterprises to settle in. Such transformations not only revitalize idle resources and reduce construction costs but also enhance regional attractiveness through spatial innovation, providing a more sense-of-belonging community environment and office scenarios for young people.
