There is relatively little information directly related to container houses in Yecheng, but some information about container applications and construction in Yecheng can be provided.
Container applications in energy storage projects in Yecheng: There is a large-scale grid-forming energy storage project in Yecheng, namely the Yecheng 200 MW/800 MWh grid-forming energy storage project, located in Yecheng County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The project has a total capacity of 200 MW/800 MWh and consists of 80 energy storage units of 2.5 MW/10 MWh each. Each energy storage unit is equipped with 4 sets of energy storage battery containers and 1 set of converter-booster integrated containers. It is the largest electrochemical energy storage power station in southern Xinjiang. This indicates that Yecheng has adopted container forms in the construction of large-scale energy storage facilities, demonstrating the application potential of containers in the field of special-function buildings. Although not traditional container houses, they provide a reference for the expanded application of containers in the construction field.
Custom container manufacturers in Yecheng: Kashgar Haihangtong Container Co., Ltd. is located in Kashgar Prefecture where Yecheng is situated. The company focuses on maritime container business. Although its main business is maritime containers, maritime containers and container houses share certain similarities in basic structure, both being based on the framework of standard containers. The company has the capability to manufacture metal containers, and metal containers have better fire resistance than ordinary packaging containers. This means that if the company expands its business to container house manufacturing, it will have certain advantages in terms of container quality and safety. It also indirectly reflects that Yecheng has the industrial foundation and technical capabilities related to container manufacturing.
Container house-related exhibitions in Shanghai: Although the exhibitions are not held in Yecheng, Shanghai hosts several container house-related exhibitions, such as the 2024 Shanghai Hotel Container House Exhibition, the 2024 Shanghai Starry Sky Room and Space Capsule Container Hotel Exhibition, etc. These exhibitions showcase the applications and innovations of container houses in fields such as hotels and commercial spaces. They provide a platform for market trends, design concepts, and technological exchanges for the development of the container house industry in Yecheng, helping relevant enterprises in Yecheng understand industry dynamics, introduce advanced technologies and designs, and promote the development of the local container house industry.
