Mobile Toilets Along the Yangtze River

Quản trị 24 tháng 9, 2026

Mobile toilets along the Yangtze River mainly include two types: ordinary mobile toilets and riverside ecological toilets, characterized by rapid deployment, flexible adaptation to various scenarios, and a strong emphasis on environmental protection.

Ordinary mobile toilets are widely used in the Yangtze River Delta region and are essential for various scenarios. In the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai area, the rental demand for these toilets increases by over 15% annually due to outdoor activities and construction projects. Compared to traditional fixed public toilets, they offer significant advantages. They do not require civil engineering or pipeline excavation; a truck can deliver and set them up on-site within a few hours, enabling rapid adaptation to different scenario requirements. Moreover, they have shed the label of being “dirty, disorganized, and poor,” offering various models such as water-flush, packing, and ecological degradation options. Some high-end models are even equipped with sensor-flush systems and baby-changing stations, greatly enhancing the user experience. Along the riverside in Chongqing, there are even instances where “mobile toilets” can be hailed with a wave, providing great convenience for tourists.

Riverside ecological toilets place a greater emphasis on environmental protection, with their core value lying in resolving the contradiction between toilet needs in specific times and spaces and environmental conservation. The key difference from ordinary mobile toilets lies in their “ecological” nature; they typically employ biodegradation or circulating water treatment systems and do not rely on municipal sewage networks, allowing flexible deployment in areas without municipal facilities, such as river beaches, dikes, and parks.

In terms of rental services, riverside ecological toilets have unique characteristics. Operators pre-store ecological toilets in multiple node warehouses or mobile platforms along the river and quickly transport them to the required locations using small vehicles based on real-time demand, typically keeping the single-trip transportation radius within 5 kilometers. Rental services also include waste disposal, with rental providers responsible for the regular replacement of treatment media or the recovery of degradation products. From a geographical perspective, their layout follows the principle of water environment sensitivity, with rental providers configuring equipment with different treatment levels based on the functional zoning of different river sections. When users choose nearby rentals, they face three variables: rental duration, service density, and response time, which together form the pricing basis for rental contracts.
