• New Construction of Mobile Public Toilets: To optimize the urban environment and meet the needs of citizens, Xuanwei City has invested 3.9 million yuan to build 27 mobile public toilets in accordance with the construction standards of a "Beautiful County Town". These toilets are reasonably located, with 5 toilets per square kilometer. In bustling areas, there is a toilet within a range of 500 to 800 meters. For example, they have been set up on sections such as near the city flower on Zhenxing Street, Xihe Road, and Huanxi Road.
• Well-Equipped Facilities: The toilets have a stylish and elegant appearance. Each toilet is equipped with three independent restrooms. Outside the restrooms, there are hand-washing sinks. Inside, there are exhaust fans, mirrors, hooks, and lighting fixtures. There is also a management room for cleaning staff.
• Accelerating Construction Progress: Since October this year, the Xuanwei Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau has actively promoted the construction. As of now, 9 mobile public toilets have been successfully installed, of which 5 have been officially put into use. It is expected that the remaining ones will be fully completed and put into service by mid-November.
• Having Multiple Advantages: Compared with traditional public toilets, they occupy a more compact area, have strong mobility, and are convenient for location adjustment. They are equipped with septic tanks installed in the civil engineering part, which are energy-saving and environmentally friendly. Each toilet wall also has a public toilet management notice board, including cleaning records, disinfection records, and information about cleaning staff and supervisors.

Measures for Toilet Renovation in Rural Areas

Baoshan Town in Xuanwei City has launched a rural toilet renovation construction project. The winning supplier is Yunnan Zhuochuan Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., with a winning amount of 580,174.73 yuan and a construction period of 90 calendar days (the specific period will be subject to the contract period after winning the bid). Through this project, the sanitary conditions of toilets in rural areas will be improved, the quality of life of rural residents will be enhanced, and the optimization of the rural living environment will be promoted.
