Xinmi City has made remarkable progress in the field of prefabricated assembly houses, covering various types and technological achievements.
The Xinmi Industrial Base for Prefabricated Buildings of China Construction Seventh Engineering Division is a core force in Xinmi City's prefabricated assembly house sector. As the first in the China Construction system and the only one in Henan Province to be recognized as a "National Residential Industrialization Base," as well as one of the first national "Prefabricated Building Industrial Bases," its position is of great importance. The base has five high-precision, modern production lines, primarily producing PC components such as prefabricated internal and external walls, composite floor slabs, and prefabricated beams and columns. To date, the production volume of prefabricated components has exceeded 30,000 cubic meters, providing strong support for the rapid development of the engineering bureau's prefabricated building industry. The base has established a development path of "prefabricated + EPC," achieving dual-wheel drive in the production of prefabricated components and the general contracting of prefabricated construction. Its representative project, the Zijing Mingdu project in Huanan City, adopts the "prefabricated + EPC" construction method and is one of the first projects recognized by the Henan Provincial Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department as a "Henan Provincial Model Site for Construction Project Quality Standardization." Additionally, the base has independently developed a ring-reinforcement扣合 (Note: '扣合' may need a more precise technical translation, here temporarily translated as 'clasp-joint') anchored concrete shear wall structural system, which resolves issues present in traditional connection methods and provides technical support for the development of fully structural prefabrication.
Prefabricated cement houses are widely used in rural areas of Xinmi City. These houses are formed in one piece using high-density concrete, offering anti-seepage and waterproofing properties, with walls that do not suffer from dampness, insect infestation, or mildew. The wall thickness is 150 millimeters, and the floor slab thickness is 100 millimeters. The high-density concrete itself has excellent sound insulation properties, and combined with a reasonable structural design, it can effectively block sound transmission. The walls are equipped with built-in insulation layers, providing thermal and noise insulation, ensuring a high level of comfort throughout the year. In Niujiaowan Village, Quliang Town, Xinmi City, some enterprises use standardized factory production methods to address the quality issues of traditional rural houses at the source.
Light steel houses are also an important component of Xinmi City's prefabricated assembly house sector. Multiple enterprises offer prefabricated energy-saving materials such as light steel villas and light steel structural houses. Light steel houses are characterized by earthquake and wind resistance, as well as corrosion resistance, making them suitable for scenarios such as rural steel-structured self-built houses.
