Installation of Simple Mobile Toilets in Xinjiang

Quản trị 27 tháng 9, 2026

The installation of simple mobile toilets in Xinjiang requires a focus on core aspects such as foundation treatment, modular assembly, sealing technology, and the application of lightweight materials. The specific steps are as follows:

  1. Foundation Treatment Based on Local Conditions
Xinjiang has complex geological conditions. In sandy soil areas, a combination of concrete foundations and ground anchors should be used to prevent structural displacement by increasing the foundation weight and anchor force. In permafrost zones, the foundation depth should be extended below the permafrost layer to avoid settlement or cracking caused by freeze-thaw cycles. If the installation area is an ecologically sensitive zone, a floating foundation can be selected, which is directly erected on the ground surface using adjustable steel supports. The supports are equipped with enlarged load-bearing plates at the bottom to disperse pressure and reduce compaction damage to the ground.

  2. Modular Prefabrication and On-site Assembly
The main structure of the toilet (walls, roof, and base) is prefabricated into standardized components in the factory, featuring snap-fit or bolt-tightening designs that eliminate the need for complex construction equipment during on-site assembly. Before assembly, the flatness of the components should be checked, with a horizontal error controlled within 3mm to ensure tight joints. After assembly, a hydraulic lifting system is used to adjust the overall height of the toilet to suit different terrain requirements.

  3. Sealing Technology to Address Temperature Variation Challenges
The large temperature variations between day and night in Xinjiang can cause material expansion and contraction, leading to joint deformation. During installation, closed-cell foam sealing strips should be filled at the component joints, and a weather-resistant sealing adhesive layer should be applied externally to form double protection. The sealing adhesive should be selected for its UV resistance and low-temperature tolerance, ensuring it remains elastic in environments ranging from -30℃ to 50℃ to prevent rainwater or odor leakage.

  4. Lightweight Materials to Reduce Transportation Difficulties
The walls are constructed using galvanized aluminum-zinc steel plates as the base material, with a sandwich structure formed by filling with flame-retardant polyurethane foam. The weight per square meter is only one-fourth of that of traditional brick-concrete structures, reducing reliance on heavy lifting equipment. The roof and base are made of high-strength aluminum alloy or fiberglass-reinforced plastic, balancing strength and portability. Standardized lifting slots are designed at the bottom, allowing the entire toilet to be relocated within 30 minutes using a 25-ton crane, improving installation efficiency.

  5. Prefabrication of Pipeline Systems and Interface Connections
Sewage, ventilation, and water supply pipelines are prefabricated into independent modules in the factory, requiring only interface connections on-site. The pipeline material is high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which has a low thermal expansion coefficient. The interfaces are connected using hot-melt welding or rubber sealing rings to prevent leakage caused by temperature variations. Ventilation pipelines should be equipped with anti-backflow devices to prevent odor backflow during strong winds.

  6. Ecological Disturbance Control Measures
During installation, ground excavation should be minimized. Floating foundations can avoid damaging vegetation roots. If foundation excavation is necessary, the original soil should be backfilled and vegetation restored after construction. Pipeline laying should avoid tree roots to reduce long-term impacts on the ecological environment.
