Xining has taken measures in mobile public toilets, including adding more mobile toilets, offering mobile toilet sales, and constructing smart toilets.
Adding Mobile Toilets: The Xining Urban Management Bureau, considering urban construction and the development of commercial formats, analyzed the toilet demands in areas with high foot traffic such as popular internet celebrity spots, night market peripheries, and commercial districts. It added 17 convenient public toilets in the surrounding areas of Xinan Guan Street, Tangdao 637 Commercial Pedestrian Street, and Baojie Street. At the same time, 25 mobile toilets were added, bringing the total number of sanitation public toilets in the city to 440 and further increasing the density of public toilets. In addition, to support major festivals and events, 11 mobile environmental protection toilets have been reserved and can be flexibly deployed according to actual needs.
