How to Use Mobile Toilets in Wuhan

Quản trị 28 tháng 9, 2026

The usage of mobile toilets in Wuhan mainly involves three steps: preparation before use, during use, and tidying up after use, as detailed below:

Preparation Before Use: When approaching a mobile toilet, first observe the 'Occupied/Unoccupied' sign on the outside to initially determine the toilet's usage status. If the sign is unclear, gently knock on the door to further confirm if someone is inside. After opening the door, carefully inspect the internal facilities. Check if the toilet is clean and free of stains; verify that the flushing mechanism works properly by pressing the button to see if water flows out; if there is a sink, confirm that the water supply is normal and that the faucet can be turned on and off properly. After confirming that all facilities are in order, close and lock the door to effectively prevent others from entering during your use, ensuring privacy and safety.

During Use: Follow the instructions inside the toilet to correctly use the fixtures, such as the toilet seat or squat toilet. After use, complete the flushing operation by stepping on the pedal or pressing the manual button, applying moderate force to avoid damaging the flushing mechanism. If the toilet has a sink, turn off the faucet promptly after use to avoid wasting water. At the same time, dispose of any garbage in the designated trash bin and strictly avoid throwing items like tissue paper or plastic bags that can easily clog the pipes into the toilet to prevent blockages and ensure smooth use for subsequent users. Some mobile toilets have special designs; after using the toilet, step on a specific black ball to automatically flush the squat toilet, and step on another black ball to get water from the faucet for handwashing; also, pay attention to the use of the door latch—pulling it up shows 'Occupied' outside, and pulling it down shows 'Unoccupied'.

Tidying Up After Use: Before leaving the mobile toilet, carefully check for any personal belongings left behind to avoid losing important items. Confirm again that both the flush and faucet are turned off to prevent leaks. Then, gently open the door, ensuring the toilet is clean inside, leaving a clean and comfortable space for the next user.
