Wuhan Marathon Portable Toilets

Quản trị 10 tháng 10, 2026

The setup of portable toilets for the Wuhan Marathon is quite comprehensive, with reasonable distributions at the starting point, along the racecourse, and at the finish lines of various events.

Starting Point Setup

The organizing committee has placed portable toilets at the starting point of the Wuhan Marathon, considering that a large number of runners will gather in this area before the race begins to engage in pre-race preparations such as warming up and organizing their gear. At this time, runners have a need to use the restroom, and having portable toilets at the starting point makes it convenient for them, preventing delays in race preparations due to searching for restrooms and ensuring the race can start in an orderly and smooth manner.

Racecourse Setup

The placement of portable toilets along the racecourse follows a certain interval pattern. From the starting point to the 5-kilometer mark, portable toilets are set up every 1 kilometer. During this initial stage of the race, runners are just beginning to compete, and their bodies are in an adaptation phase. The need to use the restroom is relatively scattered, and the 1-kilometer interval setup can meet runners' needs without causing excessive concentration of resources and waste.

From the 7.5-kilometer mark to the 40-kilometer mark, portable toilets are set up every 2.5 kilometers. As the race progresses, runners enter a stable running phase. However, due to the loss of body fluids during exercise and the need to replenish water, they develop physiological needs such as urination. The 2.5-kilometer interval setup is determined after comprehensive consideration of runners' physiological characteristics, race rhythm, and the reasonable layout of portable toilets, and it can better meet runners' restroom needs during long-distance races.

Finish Line Setup

Portable toilets are also set up at the finish lines of various events. After the race ends, runners are physically fatigued, and they may have held their urine for various reasons during the race. They urgently need to use the restroom upon reaching the finish line. Having portable toilets at the finish line provides convenience for runners, allowing them to promptly address physiological issues and relieve physical fatigue after completing the race.

At the same time, to protect the environment, runners are not allowed to urinate or defecate anywhere other than designated restroom areas at the starting and finish points and along the racecourse. They are also not allowed to randomly discard any masks, wrapping paper, bottles, cans, or garbage. Instead, they should try to put them into the special trash bins or bags set up by the organizing committee. This regulation helps maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the race venue and reduces environmental pollution.
