Wooden Mobile Toilet
A wooden mobile toilet is an environmentally friendly facility that can be moved as a whole, providing public toilet services. It is usually constructed using materials such as anti-corrosion wood and is suitable for a variety of public places.

I. Basic Structure and Materials
A wooden mobile toilet consists of core components such as a fecal sewage storage tank (or disposal unit), flooring, sanitary ware, walls, hand-washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. Its main structure may adopt a shape similar to an apple silo, with the front wall made of anti-corrosion wood, which is both environmentally friendly and durable. Some designs also include a public hand-washing area to meet hand-washing needs in non-toilet scenarios. The interior of the toilet is divided into independent spaces by partitions to ensure privacy. In addition to anti-corrosion wood, a variety of materials can be selected, including steel structures, fiberglass, color-coated steel, metal, light steel, galvanized sheets, stainless steel, aluminum alloys, and plastics, which can be flexibly customized according to the usage scenario and budget.
II. Classification and Functional Characteristics
- Structural Form: It is divided into single-unit structures (independent units) and composite structures (multi-unit combinations) to adapt to different spatial requirements.
- Mobile Method: It includes lifting/handling types (requiring external equipment for movement) and powered/trailer types (with their own power or capable of being towed), offering high flexibility.
- Sewage Treatment:
- Water-flush and waterless suction types: They rely on a water source for flushing, and the sewage needs to be regularly suctioned and treated; the waterless suction type reduces water usage through vacuum suction.
- Recirculating water-flush type: It is equipped with a water treatment system to achieve sewage purification and reuse, saving water resources.
- Dry-packing type: It uses biodegradable bags to collect feces, requiring no flushing, and is suitable for scenarios without a water source or with high environmental requirements.
III. Application Scenarios and Advantages
Wooden mobile toilets are widely deployed in places such as stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, and commercial streets, especially suitable for temporary events, disaster emergencies, or densely populated areas. Their core advantages include:
- Environmental Friendliness: The anti-corrosion wood material is biodegradable, and some models support sewage recirculation treatment, reducing pollution.
- Flexibility: They can be moved as a whole or quickly disassembled and assembled, adapting to changes in the site.
- Customization: Materials, sizes, and functions (such as adding baby care rooms and barrier-free facilities) can be adjusted according to needs.
- Privacy: Independent partition design enhances the user experience.
IV. Extended Uses
In addition to conventional mobile toilets, wooden structures can also be transformed into outdoor restrooms, public restrooms, or temporary sanitary facilities on construction sites to meet diverse scenario requirements.
