Widen and Enlarge Container House

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Widen and enlarge container houses can be achieved through custom non-standard containers, modular expandable structures, selecting widened standard models, or combining and assembling them. Here are the specific methods and key points:

1. Custom Non-Standard Extra-Wide Containers
Some manufacturers can produce container houses with widths exceeding standard dimensions, such as the 3.6-meter extra-wide container showcased by Tuoweite. These containers provide greater lateral space for equipment placement or living areas by widening the horizontal dimensions, with the internal clear width determined by the structural and enclosure configurations. Customization requires consideration of transportation profile restrictions and on-site unloading conditions to ensure seamless integration between extra-wide manufacturing and project implementation, such as balancing space and strength requirements by optimizing parameters like chassis structure and enclosure thickness.

2. Adopt Modular Expandable Structures
Double-wing expandable containers are a typical example, such as the 20-foot double-wing expandable container used in a Chilean project. During transportation, the side spaces are folded to reduce volume, and upon arrival at the site, the wings are extended, increasing the usable area to approximately 36 square meters. This design achieves spatial transformation through mechanical structures, balancing transportation efficiency and usable area, making it suitable for overseas modular construction projects.

3. Select Widened Standard Models
Some manufacturers offer widened versions of standard containers, such as widening the standard width from 2.4 meters to 3 meters, with height options of 2.4 meters or 2.6 meters, and length options covering 3 meters, 4 meters, 6 meters, and 12 meters. The widened containers can be used directly as independent units or combined and assembled to form larger spaces.
