Waterless Mobile Toilet

Quản trị 10 tháng 10, 2026

A waterless mobile toilet is an environmentally friendly toilet that can treat waste without traditional water flushing. Common types include mechanical packaging, microbial degradation, foam sealing, vacuum suction, and chemical agent types.

Mechanical Packaging Type: It wraps the squatting position with a specially made biodegradable plastic bag and uses a mechanical device to automatically tighten and seal the waste to form an independent package, which eventually falls into the fecal storage tank for removal by specialized personnel. Its core advantage lies in no need for water, electricity, or sewage disposal, and it can be used immediately upon placement, making it particularly suitable for places without infrastructure such as mountain tops in scenic spots and outdoor camping sites.

Microbial Degradation Type: A degradation chamber filled with microbial carriers is set up below the squatting position, and organic matter is decomposed through aerobic fermentation. The high temperature generated during decomposition can kill pathogens, achieving harmless treatment. This type of toilet is suitable for scenarios requiring resource recycling, such as ecological protection zones and organic farms.

Foam Sealing Type: An air pump is used to mix air with foaming liquid to form a dense foam layer on the surface of the squatting pan, covering it, and excreta slide into the pipe below. A single foaming only consumes about 0.1 liters of liquid, with a water-saving rate of over 90%, making it suitable for places with high water-saving requirements such as city parks and temporary exhibitions.

Vacuum Suction Type: A negative pressure is formed in the pipe through a vacuum pump, instantly sucking the waste into the main pipe and transporting it to the treatment tank. It has high treatment efficiency but requires electrical equipment, making it suitable for scenarios requiring rapid removal such as construction sites and large-scale event venues.

Chemical Agent Type: Chemical agents are added to the fecal storage tank to decompose excreta and inhibit odors and bacterial reproduction through chemical reactions. This type of toilet is easy to maintain but requires regular replenishment of agents, making it suitable for cost-sensitive scenarios such as rural revitalization projects and temporary camping sites.

These toilets generally have the characteristics of water-saving, environmental protection, and strong adaptability, and can operate normally in arid areas, high-altitude mountainous areas, and even electricity-free environments. Their application scenarios cover natural scenic spots, urban public spaces, temporary projects, and agricultural demonstration zones, providing sustainable sanitation solutions for resource-scarce areas.
