Water-Flush Mobile Toilet Technology

Quản trị 23 tháng 9, 2026

The technology of water-flush mobile toilets encompasses three core aspects: material selection, structural design and process details, and sewage and environmental treatment methods.

In terms of material selection, the outer shell material needs to balance durability and environmental adaptability. The mainstream choice is high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which is corrosion-resistant, impact-resistant, and easy to clean, making it suitable for most scenarios. Fiberglass-reinforced plastic has high strength but is relatively heavy, and is mostly used in places with high structural strength requirements. Stainless steel, due to its salt-spray corrosion resistance, is commonly found in coastal or high-end projects. Some designs adopt a steel frame (such as Q235 steel) combined with a metal carved panel or aluminum-plastic panel outer shell, balancing strength and aesthetics. The inner walls and floors need to meet anti-slip and stain-resistant requirements. Anti-slip aluminum plates, engineering plastics, and FRP floors are common choices. Integrated wall panels are mostly used for inner walls, and floor tiles or marble are laid on the ground to enhance cleanability.

Regarding structural design and process details, modular design is the core advantage. It enables rapid assembly, disassembly, and transportation through standardized components, with a service life of up to 20 years and a temperature tolerance range from -30°C to 50°C. In a space of 2-3 square meters, it is necessary to reasonably arrange the toilet, sink, storage rack, and ventilation system to ensure structural stability and smooth drainage. The joints are sealed with sealing strips or waterproofed to prevent rainwater infiltration and odor leakage. The ventilation system combines natural ventilation and mechanical exhaust to reduce stuffiness. Customized squatting positions (each weighing about 2000 kg) and a 220V power supply system meet the needs of large-scale use. A 15-centimeter-thick insulation layer combined with a metal outer shell can withstand extreme weather conditions.

As for sewage and environmental treatment methods, there are two types: ordinary water-flush and circulating water-flush. The ordinary water-flush type relies on a water tank or external water source and is flushed by a small water pump. The excreta is导入 (this Chinese character should be replaced with 'directed' or 'led' in proper context, here we use 'directed' for correction) into a septic tank or municipal sewer network by high-pressure water flow, and a sewage tank (whose volume determines the frequency of emptying) is required. The circulating water-flush type realizes sewage purification and circulation through an internal system: in the collection stage, the sewage is flushed into the bottom treatment tank; in the purification stage, microorganisms (biomembrane technology) are used to decompose organic matter, and then impurities are removed by a filtration device; in the circulation stage, the treated reclaimed water is pumped back to the water tank for reuse. Some high-end models are equipped with a microbial treatment module, which can preliminarily purify the sewage to reduce subsequent treatment costs.
