Urban Mobile Toilet Charges

Quản trị 24 tháng 9, 2026

The charging situation for urban mobile toilets varies depending on the usage method and type, mainly falling into two categories: single-use charges and rental charges.

Single-Use Charges

Some urban mobile toilets adopt a single-use charging model. For example, the mobile public toilets that have appeared in Jinfeng, Fujian, require users to pay 10 yuan per use by scanning a code, and the usage duration may be limited. Such charges are typically aimed at temporary, high-demand scenarios (such as tourist attractions and business districts), using price leverage to regulate usage frequency while covering costs such as equipment maintenance and cleaning. The pricing logic for single-use charges is directly related to the regional consumption level and toilet configuration (such as sanitary conditions and facility completeness). Some high-end mobile toilets may increase their charges due to providing better services (such as automatic flushing and air purification).

Rental Charges

The rental fees for mobile toilets are calculated on a daily basis, ranging from 50 yuan to 800 yuan. The specific price is influenced by the following factors:

  • Toilet Type: Simple flush toilets, with their simple structure and low cost, usually have rental fees of 50-200 yuan per day. Light-steel decorated toilets, with more durable materials and a more aesthetically pleasing appearance, have prices ranging from 100-300 yuan per day. Luxury toilet-seat toilets, equipped with high-end sanitary facilities, have rents of 200-500 yuan per day. Mobile toilets with shower facilities, due to their expanded functionality, have daily rents of about 150-300 yuan. VIP mobile toilets, providing independent space and high-end facilities (such as air conditioning and smart toilet seats), may have daily rents exceeding 1000 yuan.
  • Usage Duration: Long-term rentals (such as monthly or annual rentals) usually come with discounts, while short-term rentals (such as single-day or event-based rentals) may see price increases due to concentrated demand.
  • Supporting Facilities: If the lessee requires additional services (such as regular cleaning, consumable replenishment, and dedicated maintenance personnel), the fees will increase accordingly.
  • Location: Rental prices in first-tier cities or tourist hotspots are generally higher than those in second- and third-tier cities due to higher labor and logistics costs.
  • Event Type: For large-scale events (such as music festivals and sports events), due to high demand and intense usage, the lessor may increase the price to cover operational risks.

The rental model is commonly used in scenarios such as construction sites, exhibitions, and temporary events. Users can choose the appropriate type based on their actual needs and optimize costs by comparing supplier quotes.
