Two Container House Designs

Quản trị 17 tháng 9, 2026

The two container house designs each have unique characteristics, differing in space utilization, functional layout, and decorative style.

44-square-meter Container Cottage on the Outskirts of Texas:
This design utilizes two vertically stacked containers, maximizing space through vertical zoning of functional areas. The ground floor serves as a communal social area, encompassing a living room, dining room, kitchen, and two bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with a mini-fridge and oven, while the window-side bar doubles as a dining and work table. The second floor is a private bedroom area, connected by a spiral staircase. The bedroom features a barn-style door that, when opened, creates an expansive view and enhances spatial openness. The rooftop terrace further extends outdoor activity space. The decor adopts a natural and minimalist style, with wooden cladding on the exterior walls, white walls paired with wooden floors, and large windows on three sides allowing ample natural light, creating a bright and cozy living atmosphere. The bathroom features a black-and-white color scheme with a wet-dry separation design for enhanced practicality.

18-square-meter Container House with Dimensions of 3m×6m×2.7m:
This design meets the basic living needs of 6-8 people through meticulous layout planning. The bedroom adopts a space capsule design, with 50cm of clearance under the bed for luggage storage. The bedside is equipped with sockets and reading lights, along with a large wardrobe and desk, balancing functionality and comfort. The living and dining area features a KTV booth-style design, integrating a 5.1 professional audio entertainment system. The lift-top dining table and foldable seating can be flexibly converted into a tatami mat, accommodating up to four people for overnight stays. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are comprehensive, with the kitchen equipped with a fridge, electric flame stove, and sink, and the bathroom featuring a shower and squat toilet combination with a wet-dry separation design for improved hygiene. The overall design emphasizes versatility and flexibility, suitable for short-term stays or collective living scenarios.

Both designs break through the spatial limitations of containers through modular combinations and functional overlays. The former focuses on vertical space utilization and integration with a natural style, while the latter emphasizes functional integration and multi-person living needs, providing differentiated reference solutions for container house design.
