Travel Container House Design Drawings

Quản trị 17 tháng 9, 2026

Currently, there are no directly available complete design drawings for travel container houses, but you can refer to the following design cases for conceptual planning:

Kenneth's 'Prairie Cottage' in the United States

  • Overall Layout: Occupying an area of 16.6 square meters, it is constructed based on discarded shipping containers. The exterior is decorated with cedar panels, adding a natural texture. The iron door of the container is replaced with a four-layer tempered glass sliding door to enhance lighting and transparency. Insulation materials are added inside to ensure living comfort. The interior is decorated with white wood panels, and the floor is covered with wooden flooring, creating a warm atmosphere.
  • Functional Zoning: On the left side of the house, there is a custom-made sofa and a wardrobe with a hidden wall bed to meet rest and storage needs. On the right side, there is a brown small cabinet. Inside, the kitchen, office area, and bathroom are planned in sequence. The bathroom uses a barn sliding door to save space. The kitchen countertop has ample space and is equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, mini-fridge, and a compact washer-dryer combo to meet daily needs. Opposite the kitchen is the dining area, which can also be used as a temporary office space.

  • Entrance Design: The entrance features a slanted door design, adding uniqueness and interest. After entering, the bathroom is on the right side, and next to it is a storage room with a higher ceiling to increase the sense of space.
  • Space Utilization: A staircase is set up on top of the cabinet, leading to the second floor from inside the cabinet. A washing machine is placed on the cabinet side, making full use of vertical space. On the second floor, the kitchen and dining area are planned together, with reasonable functional planning. After washing and cooking, dishes can be directly placed on the table for dining, which is convenient and practical.

  • Exterior Features: Built using ordinary shipping containers, it has a dark blue color scheme with two main doors at the front and back and a central door leading to a patio for easy access and leisure. The four corners of the roof are connected by lifting rods, and three solar panels are installed on top to provide clean energy.
  • Interior Style: The interior design leans towards a minimalist style, with a primary color scheme of natural wood, creating a natural and comfortable living environment. The L-shaped kitchen saves space, and cabinets are made from the empty spaces above, below, and to the sides to increase storage capacity. The bedroom bed can be folded, serving as a sofa during the day and a double bed at night. The walls beside and above the bed are filled with cabinets to meet the storage needs for clothing and other items. A small stove is set up in the center of the house, and the surrounding walls and floor are made of fire-resistant and heat-resistant black special materials. The cabinets on both sides are filled with firewood, which is both practical and distinctive.
