Tongzi Temporary Container House

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Tongzi temporary container houses are commonly used as construction site dormitories, field operation housing, office housing, temporary housing for tourist attractions, etc. However, there are certain fire safety hazards, and strict adherence to fire safety regulations is required during use.

Uses of Temporary Container Houses

Temporary container houses resemble containers and are also known as container houses, residential containers, and container residences. They are characterized by environmental protection, energy efficiency, flexible combination, and ease of disassembly and transportation. In Tongzi and many other places, they are commonly seen on construction sites as dormitories for workers. Sometimes, they are also used as field operation housing, office housing, temporary housing for tourist attractions, and even as rental housing.

Existing Fire Safety Hazards

  • Illegal construction materials: To save costs, some temporary houses on construction sites and illegal buildings of some enterprises often use flammable materials such as polystyrene and polyurethane foam for the core materials. These flammable and combustible sandwich materials have poor fire resistance and safety, and can be ignited by electrical welding sparks and cigarette butts.
  • Rapid combustion speed: Once ignited, flammable and combustible sandwich materials burn rapidly, melting and deforming at 80°C, causing more severe combustion due to dripping materials, and producing highly toxic combustion products.
  • Difficulty in firefighting: After a fire breaks out, the flames spread rapidly, and collapse accidents are likely to occur in a short time. The collapsed container houses are wrapped in iron sheets, making it difficult for firefighting water guns to shoot water inside, greatly increasing the difficulty of firefighting and rescue work.
  • Difficulty in escape for trapped persons: Both polystyrene and polyurethane produce thick black smoke when burning, and toxic smoke accumulates inside the rooms, making it difficult for trapped persons to survive and prone to casualties.

Fire Safety Requirements

  • Container houses should preferably be made using rock wool boards and fireproof cotton as fillers to achieve an A-grade fire resistance limit and meet the fire safety conditions of construction sites.
  • During use, heat sources and fire sources should not be placed close to container houses, and a certain distance should be maintained for open flame operations.
  • Wires and cables should be protected with sleeves, and sockets and switch boxes should be made of metal galvanized boxes and installed in an exposed manner. Simple firefighting equipment should be provided inside and outside.
  • A safety distance of at least 6 meters should be maintained between container houses.
