Toilet Relocation

Quản trị 26 tháng 9, 2026

Toilet relocation generally refers to the operation of changing the original installation position of the toilet, that is, toilet shifting, or it can also refer to the overall relocation of mobile toilets.

Toilet Shifting

The main purposes of toilet shifting are to optimize space layout, enhance usability, or adapt to new decoration styles. Common methods include the following:

  • Short-distance adjustment using a toilet shifter: Suitable for small-scale and short-distance shifting, with a typical shifting distance of 10 - 30 centimeters and not exceeding 40 centimeters. Its advantages are minimal modification and low cost, but it may affect the flushing effect and increase the risk of blockage. During construction, a slope of 1% - 3% should be reserved to ensure smooth drainage of sewage.
  • Re-laying pipes by raising the floor: By building a base platform 180 - 200 millimeters high to embed the sewage pipes, this method is suitable for longer-distance shifting. This approach offers relatively flexible layout options, but it raises the floor level, affecting aesthetics and usability, such as potentially causing inconvenience for the elderly and children when entering and exiting.
  • Changing to a wall-mounted toilet or drilling a new hole in the floor slab: By converting from a floor-mounted to a wall-mounted toilet, the pipes run along the wall, eliminating the need to raise the floor and making it easier to conceal the pipes, resulting in a cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing bathroom. However, this method may require the consent of the downstairs residents and re-waterproofing to prevent leakage issues.
  • Same-floor drainage shifting: For sunken bathroom structures, pipes can be freely arranged within the sunken layer, with fewer restrictions on shifting. However, this method is only applicable if the building has a sunken structure.
  • Modifying downstairs pipes: Suitable for inter-floor drainage, this method requires strict consent from the downstairs residents and property management, with professional personnel carrying out pipe modifications downstairs. This approach carries risks of legal and neighborly disputes and should be used with caution.

Mobile Toilets

Mobile toilets are facilities that can be relocated as a whole and placed at locations with fixed or temporary needs to provide toilet services for the public and customers. They are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets.
