Tibet Creative Container House

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Tibet Creative Container House takes modular design as its core and combines adaptability to the plateau environment to provide diverse and customizable temporary or permanent building solutions.

I. Core Types and Structural Features Container houses in Tibet are mainly divided into three categories:

  1. Cargo-container type: Transformed from traditional cargo containers, these houses have a sturdy structure, can withstand significant pressure, and are suitable for long-term use scenarios.
  2. Welded-box type: Utilizing new welding technology, these houses are easy to transport, install, and move, with relatively low costs and a lifespan exceeding 15 years. They are widely used in scenarios such as construction site dormitories and temporary offices.
  3. Demountable-box type: Produced in a modular manner with standardized components, these houses have a fast on-site assembly speed and low transportation costs, making them suitable for rapid deployment needs.

II. Plateau Environment Adaptability Design In response to the climatic characteristics of high altitude, strong ultraviolet radiation, and large temperature differences in Tibet, container houses have been optimized in terms of materials and structure:

  • Thermal insulation: Filled with rock wool or glass wool (with a thickness of 75mm-150mm), some are equipped with polyurethane. The fire rating reaches Class A non-combustible materials, and the thermal insulation coefficient K value can be lower than 0.3W/(㎡·K), effectively coping with low-temperature environments.
  • Earthquake and wind resistance: The frame structure has high strength, with an earthquake resistance intensity of over 8 degrees, capable of withstanding earthquakes of magnitude 7 or above and typhoons of level 12, ensuring safety.
  • Weather resistance: The outer layer materials are resistant to ultraviolet aging. Doors and windows adopt broken-bridge aluminum and insulated glass to reduce heat conduction and adapt to environments with large day-night temperature differences.

III. Functionality and Configuration Flexibility Container houses can be fully decorated inside and support personalized customization:

  • Basic configuration: Equipped with external power supply, built-in air conditioners, lighting, tables, and chairs, they are ready for immediate use.
  • Extended functions: Through modular combinations, they can form diverse spaces such as offices, dormitories, medical facilities, and commercial areas, meeting the needs of scenarios such as construction site camps, scenic area homestays, and emergency shelters.
  • Environmental protection and cost-effectiveness: The materials can be recycled. The total life-cycle cost is 15%-30% lower than that of traditional prefabricated activity board houses, with a recycling rate of 80%-90%.

IV. Localized Services and Cases Local suppliers in Tibet (such as Tibet Yongcheng Color Steel Products Co., Ltd. and Lhasa Duilong Deqing District Jihang Integrated Housing Business Department) provide a full-chain service of "design-production-installation-after-sales", shortening the project cycle and reducing comprehensive costs. Their products have been widely used in Lhasa, Shigatse, Shannan, and other places, covering scenarios such as construction site dormitories, scenic area homestays, and municipal public toilets, proving their adaptability to the plateau environment.
