Temporary Container House Escape Pole

Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026

When setting up escape poles for temporary container houses, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the fire resistance of materials, structural stability, design specifications for escape poles, and installation locations:

1. Prioritize fire-resistant materials to reduce fire risks The filling materials of container panel houses directly affect fire safety. Combustible materials such as polystyrene and polyurethane produce thick black smoke and toxic gases when burning, making it difficult for trapped individuals to escape. It is recommended to use Class A fire-resistant materials such as rock wool panels and fire-resistant cotton, which can meet the fire safety requirements of construction sites, slow down the spread of fire, and buy time for escape.

2. Ensure structural stability to prevent collapse from obstructing escape Steel-structured containers are prone to deformation and collapse due to high temperatures in fires. Ordinary container panel houses may lose their load-bearing capacity within 10 minutes after a fire, seriously threatening the safety of personnel. It is necessary to choose containers with a wind resistance rating of 10-12 and an applicable temperature range of -10℃ to 50℃, and ensure structural stability to prevent collapse caused by fire or external forces from blocking escape routes.

3. Escape pole design should comply with specifications to ensure operational safety Escape poles should be made of high-temperature-resistant and high-strength materials (such as stainless steel or alloy steel), with a diameter of not less than 50mm and a smooth surface without sharp edges. The installation height should be adjusted according to the floor height of the container to ensure that personnel can grasp it smoothly; a non-slip mat or buffer device should be installed at the bottom to reduce the impact force of falls. In addition, the escape pole should be firmly connected to the main body of the container to prevent it from loosening and falling off during a fire.

4. Plan the installation location reasonably to ensure an unobstructed escape route The escape pole should be installed on the outside of the container near the exit to avoid crossing with internal heat sources, fire sources, or electrical wires. The distance between adjacent containers should be kept at more than 6 meters to prevent the spread of fire from blocking escape routes. At the same time, no clutter should be placed around the escape pole to ensure that it can be used quickly in emergencies.

Additional suggestions: In addition to escape poles, simple fire-fighting equipment (such as dry powder fire extinguishers) should be equipped inside the container and regularly inspected and maintained; electrical wires and cables should be protected with sleeves, and switch boxes should be installed with metal galvanized surface-mounted boxes to reduce the risk of electrical fires. By implementing multi-dimensional safety measures, the escape safety of temporary container houses can be significantly improved.
