Take-off Mobile Toilet

Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026

In the field of civil aviation, there is no true 'take-off mobile toilet'. During the take-off taxiing phase of an aircraft, the toilets are closed and cannot be used.

Toilet Usage Regulations During the Take-off Phase in Aviation

In the field of civil aviation, during the ground taxiing phase as the aircraft prepares for take-off, the toilets are closed, and passengers are unable to use them. This is based on considerations of flight safety regulations. During the process of an aircraft moving, taking off, or landing, it faces various complex flight conditions and potential safety risks. For example, when an aircraft is taxiing, it may suddenly accelerate, decelerate, or turn. If passengers are moving around in the toilet at this time, they may lose their balance and fall, resulting in injuries, or even cause damage to the toilet facilities, thereby affecting the normal flight safety of the aircraft. Taking a flight from Singapore to Shanghai as an example, when the aircraft was taxiing and preparing for take-off, a female passenger's request to use the restroom was denied precisely because of adherence to this flight safety regulation.

Special 'Take-off Mobile Toilet' Incidents Are Not Within the Scope of Aviation

Although there have been reports of some special incidents related to 'take-off mobile toilets', these incidents do not occur in the field of aviation. For instance, a woman in Baoding, Hebei, was so desperate for a toilet that she got into a roadside mobile toilet. After the Baoding Marathon ended, when the organizers were cleaning up the mobile toilets at the venue, the workers used a crane to load the toilets onto a truck. The woman didn't notice and ended up being packed along with the toilet onto the highway by the crane, starting a 'highway toilet sightseeing tour'. The mobile toilet in this incident is a public facility on the ground and has nothing to do with aircraft take-off and aviation safety. It was just given the dramatic term 'take-off mobile toilet' due to the coincidental scenario.

In conclusion, during aviation flights, toilets cannot be used during the take-off taxiing phase, and the so-called special 'take-off mobile toilet' incidents have nothing to do with aviation.
