Simple Storage-Type Portable Toilet
Quản trị 05 tháng 10, 2026
There are mainly two methods for making a simple storage-type portable toilet: using a water storage tank and using a water storage bucket.

Making with a Water Storage Tank
- Base Frame Construction: First, prepare a pallet. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of the pallet to ensure the portable toilet can move flexibly. Then, place a water storage tank recycled from a garbage station, which serves as the main storage container for the portable toilet.
- Tank Body Processing: Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the water storage tank to form an open-top tank. Stack two open-top water storage tanks upside down and fix the outer frame with self-tapping screws to increase structural stability.
- Doorway Creation: Cut a rectangular opening on the tank body to form a doorway for easy access.
- Internal Facility Installation: Drill a hole in the interior floor, insert an elbow and a water pipe, and seal them properly. Then, install and fix a toilet. Fix water pipes on the wall with clips, install a faucet, and fix a pipe cap with screws at the bottom and connect a water pipe as the drainage outlet. Drill a hole in the pipe cap, install a stainless-steel basin as a sink, connect the toilet tank and shower hose, install a toilet seat and a shower head made of a water pipe.
- Door Making and Installation: Make a toilet door with wooden boards and hinges and install a door handle to ensure normal door use.
Making with a Water Storage Bucket
- Bucket Body Processing: First, use an angle grinder to split the water storage bucket in half. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board and fix wooden strips on the upper side of the bucket with self-tapping screws to increase the height.
- Doorway and Wall Construction: Cut a doorway on the side of the water storage bucket. Install sponge strips on both sides of the doorway to form a door frame. Insert plastic soft boards between the wooden strips to form an elevated wall.
- Roof Installation: Place the upper half of the water storage bucket on the top of the wooden strips to form a roof and paint the wooden strips with white waterproof paint to prevent rain erosion.
- Internal Facility Installation: Make a simple door by splicing waste honeycomb wooden boards with foam strips. Drill a hole at the bottom of the bucket and install a drainage pipe to form a floor drain. Drill holes on the side and connect direct joints. Place a plastic bucket on the roof to form a small water storage device. Connect a bathtub heater made of a water pipe. Install a three-way joint below the water inlet pipe and connect a shower head. Place a toilet and install a water tank. Fix the toilet with glass glue. Connect the drainage pipe to the sewage bucket. Connect a water pipe horizontally from the three-way joint of the outlet pipe to the doorway as the water inlet pipe for the sink and install corresponding components at the joints.
