Standard Dimensions for Prefabricated House Bases
There is no unified standard for the dimensions of prefabricated house bases, which need to be determined according to specific application scenarios and design requirements. Here is common dimensional information for prefabricated house bases in different scenarios:

Prefabricated courtyard wall bases: The common dimensional range is a height of 300mm to 600mm, a width of 200mm to 400mm, and a length between 1m and 3m depending on the courtyard wall span. The dimensional design of these bases mainly considers the stability of the courtyard wall and material economy, and they can usually be customized according to actual needs. For example, if the courtyard wall span is large or it needs to withstand significant lateral forces, the base width and height can be appropriately increased to enhance stability.
Prefabricated reinforced concrete foundations (for steel structure workshops, etc.): The dimensions of these bases are usually related to the workshop scale and load requirements. Common models include:
- DJ-1100: Base dimensions of 1.1×1.1 meters and a height of 300mm, suitable for small steel structure workshops;
- DJ-1500: Base dimensions of 1.5×1.5 meters and a height of 400mm, suitable for medium-sized workshops;
- DJ-1800: Base dimensions of 1.8×1.8 meters and a height of 600mm, suitable for large workshops or scenarios with high load requirements;
- DJ-2200 and DJ-2400: Base dimensions of 2.2×2.2 meters and 2.4×2.4 meters respectively, with heights of 650mm and 600mm, suitable for extra-large workshops or special geological conditions. The dimensions of these bases need to be determined through structural calculations to ensure that the bearing capacity meets the design requirements.
Self-built house bases: The dimensional design needs to comprehensively consider the number of house floors, structural type, and geological conditions.
- Strip foundations: For single-story houses, the formwork width is 300-500 millimeters and the height is 200-300 millimeters; for two-story houses, the width is 500-700 millimeters and the height is 300-400 millimeters. Strip foundations are suitable for scenarios with good geological conditions and relatively small loads.
- Isolated foundations: The side length of a square is 800-1500 millimeters and the height is 300-500 millimeters; the short side of a rectangle is not less than 800 millimeters. Isolated foundations are suitable for scenarios with poor geological conditions or relatively large loads, such as multi-story brick-concrete structure houses. Design principles: If the foundation soil is soft, the base dimensions need to be increased to improve the bearing capacity; if the number of house floors increases or the structural type is complex (such as a frame structure), the base dimensions also need to be adjusted accordingly.
