Small Mobile Toilet Design and Construction

Quản trị 12 tháng 10, 2026

The design and construction of small mobile toilets should incorporate principles of modularity, functional adaptability, and environmental protection and energy efficiency. The specific key points are as follows:

I. Design Key Points

  1. Modular Design
    Utilize prefabricated steel structures or composite panel modules for assembly, which can be disassembled into components for transportation and quickly assembled on-site. For example, using water storage tanks or containers as the basic structure, walls and roofs can be formed through cutting and splicing, reducing transportation costs and improving construction efficiency.
  2. Functional Adaptability
    Adjust configurations based on usage scenarios:
  • Construction Site Scenarios: Focus on collision resistance and oil stain resistance designs, using high-strength materials;
  • Scenic Spot Scenarios: Add deodorization devices, mother-and-child toilet stalls, or barrier-free facilities to enhance user experience;
  • Emergency Scenarios: Simplify structures to prioritize meeting basic toilet needs.
  1. Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency
    Equip with flush-free toilets (such as foam sealing types), rainwater collection systems, or solar power supply devices to reduce reliance on municipal pipe networks. For example, a simple water circulation system can be formed by connecting a water storage tank to drainage pipes and toilets, achieving zero sewage discharge.

II. Construction Key Points

  1. Basic Structure Construction
    • Use an angle grinder to cut water storage tanks/containers to form open containers, stack and secure them, and then cut out door openings;
    • Fix universal wheels at the bottom of wooden boards or pallets for easy mobility;
    • Use wooden strips or plastic soft panels to elevate walls, and place the upper half of a water storage tank on top as the roof to ensure structural stability.
  2. Water and Electricity System Installation
    • Drill holes at the bottom of the tank to install drainage pipes to form floor drains, and drill holes on the sides to connect water pipes, installing faucets and sinks;
    • Align the toilet with the drainage outlet for fixation, connect the water tank and shower hoses to ensure normal showering and toilet functions;
    • Solar panels should be installed at an incline on the roof to ensure lighting efficiency.
  3. Decoration and Detail Handling
    • Apply waterproof paint to enhance aesthetics, and use foam strips to splice honeycomb wooden panels to make simple doors;
    • Install door frames, door locks, and hinges to ensure structural stability;
    • Add ventilation openings or small exhaust fans inside to improve air circulation.

III. Construction Organization Principles

  1. Objectives and Principles
    Adhere to the principle of "underground before above-ground, main body before decoration" to ensure quality (wind resistance rating ≥ 8), safety (zero casualties), progress (delivery within 72 hours), and environmental protection (noise ≤ 60 decibels, waste sorted and transported) standards are met.
  2. Personnel Allocation
    Form a special project team, including a project manager, technical leader, construction team leader, safety officer, and logistics personnel, to clarify responsibilities and avoid rework.
  3. Site Preparation
    Survey ground flatness and inspect underground cables and water pipes to avoid construction risks.
