Six Container Houses

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The construction of six container houses requires comprehensive consideration of factors such as design planning, structural safety, material selection, functional layout, and compliance. The following analysis is conducted from multiple dimensions:

1. Design Planning and Structural Safety

Container houses should be based on modular design principles, forming a self-balancing system through rigid connections between corner fittings and side beams. For example, using high-strength weather-resistant steel (such as Q355B grade) as the main frame, when the length-to-width ratio of a single container is close to 2:1, stress can be dispersed through top longitudinal corrugated plates, reducing material usage by approximately 15%. For multi-story structures (such as the two-story layout in the case of the Beijing uncle), a dual-fixing mode of 'wedge-shaped lock + high-strength bolt' should be introduced at connection nodes to ensure that the displacement is controlled within 3 millimeters in areas with a seismic design intensity of 7 degrees, which is 40% better than the deformation amplitude of conventional welded nodes.

2. Material Selection and Thermal Performance

The envelope structure should adopt a composite construction to enhance thermal performance. For example, in a three-layer structure of 'rock wool-air layer-aluminum-zinc plate', the rock wool layer has a thickness of 75-100 millimeters and a thermal conductivity lower than 0.040 W/(m·K). Combined with a 5-millimeter air layer to suppress convective heat transfer, the overall heat transfer coefficient (U-value) is lower than 0.5 W/(m²·K), effectively reducing the risk of condensation in cold regions such as Inner Mongolia. If used in hot and humid environments in the south, waterproofing membranes or breathable paper layers should be added to prevent moisture penetration and steel structure corrosion.

3. Functional Layout and Space Utilization

Six containers can achieve diverse layouts through 'horizontal splicing + vertical stacking'. For example, in the case of the Beijing uncle, a 'left three, right three' layout was adopted, forming a 200-square-meter space with three bedrooms, a living room, and a hundred-square-meter courtyard; the Jiangsu homeowner, on the other hand, planned a bedroom, living room, and separate wet and dry bathrooms within an 18-square-meter single container by vertically stacking two layers of containers. It should be noted that the internal clear height of a standard container is approximately 2.3 meters. If an increased floor height is required, a raised design or partial floor lowering can be adopted.

4. Compliance and Fire Safety

Strict compliance with regulations such as the 'Interim Provisions on the Review and Acceptance of Fire Protection Design for Construction Projects' is required. For example, filling materials should meet Class A fire protection standards (such as rock wool boards), electrical wiring should be equipped with metal conduits, container spacing should be maintained at more than 6 meters, and simple fire extinguishing equipment should be provided. If it is a temporary building, a temporary land use permit issued by the natural resources department should be obtained, and the usage period should not exceed 2 years.
