Simple Portable Toilet Usage

Quản trị 23 tháng 9, 2026

The usage methods of simple portable toilets mainly consist of four steps: installation, using the toilet, cleaning, and hygiene maintenance. Specific operations should be adjusted according to the type of toilet.

  1. Installation
Choose a flat location away from water sources to avoid environmental pollution or affecting stability. Tent-style toilets require securing the supports to ensure structural stability; foldable portable toilets can be directly unfolded and checked to ensure all components are tightly connected; chemical or biodegradable toilets need to verify that the chemical tanks or biodegradable materials are properly installed. For portable movable toilets, correctly connect the toilet body to the black water tank and secure the straps to prevent sliding.

  2. Using the Toilet

  • Use of accompanying tools: Use the provided bags or containers to collect waste, avoiding direct contact with the ground. Chemical toilets require adding deodorizing and decomposing agents according to the instructions to ensure thorough mixing of waste and agents; biodegradable toilets can rely on built-in microorganisms or biodegradable materials to process waste.
  • Operation of portable toilets: After securing the straps, open the toilet lid. After using the toilet, press the flush button (for some models) or manually pour water to flush waste into the black water tank. Be mindful of controlling the water volume to prevent overflow.
  1. Cleaning
  • Disposal of biodegradable materials: For toilets using biodegradable bags, seal the bag after use and bury it in the soil (recommended depth ≥30 cm) to promote natural decomposition.
  • Disposal of chemical waste: Seal the mixture of chemical agents and waste in a dedicated container, take it away from the wilderness, and hand it over to designated agencies for disposal. Do not dump it randomly.
  • Cleaning of portable toilets: Press the buckle to remove the black water tank, pour the waste into a compliant drainage outlet or toilet, rinse the inside of the black water tank with clean water, dry it, and reinstall it. Regular trash (such as tissue paper) should be packed and taken away, not left on-site.
  1. Hygiene Maintenance
It is recommended to clean your hands with hand sanitizer before and after use to avoid cross-contamination. If the toilet is equipped with disinfectant sprays or wipes, regularly wipe the toilet seat, supports, and other contact areas. For long-term storage, empty the chemical tank or black water tank, keep it dry and ventilated to prevent mold or odor.

Note: The operational details may vary for different types of toilets (such as foldable, tent-style, chemical, or biodegradable). Carefully read the instructions before use to ensure compliant operation.
