Simple Mobile Toilet for Construction Site

Quản trị 27 tháng 9, 2026

Simple mobile toilets for construction sites can be homemade using materials such as water storage tanks and pallets, or ready-made mobile toilets can be chosen. Their core structures include storage devices, sanitary ware, and mobile components, featuring mobility and ease of transportation.

Steps for Making a Mobile Toilet

  1. Building the Basic Framework Select durable pallets (such as wooden or metal ones) as the bottom support. Fix universal wheels at the four corners to ensure the toilet can move flexibly. The pallets need to bear the weight of the water storage tank and sanitary facilities, so materials with sufficient strength should be chosen.
  2. Modifying the Water Storage Tank Recycled water storage tanks (such as plastic or metal ones) need to have their tops cut off to form open tanks for fecal storage. Stack two open tanks and fix them with self-tapping screws to increase capacity. When cutting, keep the edges of the tanks flat to avoid scratching users.
  3. Installing the Drainage System Make holes in the floor inside the toilet and install drainage elbows and pipes, connecting them to the water storage tank below. The elbows should adopt an odor-proof design (such as S-shaped bends) to prevent the spread of odors. The connections of the pipes should be sealed to avoid leakage.
  4. Fixing the Sanitary Ware Install a toilet (a simple squat toilet or a sit-down toilet can be selected). Seal the edges with waterproof glue to prevent sewage overflow. If space allows, additional facilities such as faucets, washbasins, or showers can be installed. They need to be connected to an independent water tank or an external water source to ensure convenient water use.
  5. Completing the Door and Wall Cut out a doorway and fix it with wooden boards or lightweight materials (such as PVC boards) as the door. It should be equipped with a lock to ensure privacy. The walls can be wrapped around the water storage tank with waterproof cloth or thin metal sheets to improve aesthetics and durability.

Core Components of Ready-made Mobile Toilets

  1. Fecal Treatment Devices These include storage tanks or biochemical treatment equipment. Storage tanks need to be cleaned regularly, while biochemical devices decompose feces through microorganisms, reducing odors and the frequency of cleaning.
  2. Sanitary Ware and Washing Equipment They are equipped with toilets, washbasins, faucets, etc. Some high-end models also have hand dryers, mirrors, etc., to enhance the user experience.
  3. Mobile and Support Structures Wheels or towing devices are installed at the bottom for easy transportation. The walls and roofs are made of lightweight materials (such as aluminum alloys and color-coated steel sheets), taking into account both strength and portability.

Applicable Scenarios and Advantages

Due to their characteristics of mobility and easy assembly, mobile toilets for construction sites are suitable for temporary construction sites, field operations, and other scenarios. Their modular design allows functions to be added or reduced according to needs (such as adding a shower room), and they do not require complex civil engineering works, saving costs and time.
