Shenzhen Container House Park

There are multiple container-house-related park projects in Shenzhen. Here are the specific introductions:

Shenzhen Central Park Project Command Center

Located within the first-phase construction area of Shenzhen Futian Central Park, it is built using temporary containers and steel structures. During the construction phase, it serves as the command center and a temporary office for project construction management. After the park is completed, its scale will be reduced and it will be transformed into an eco-classroom, exhibition hall, and service facilities open to the public. The architect uses curved grilles to connect functional units, creating semi-outdoor porches and enclosure structures that form gentle curves, harmoniously blending with the surrounding natural environment. White aluminum grilles are arranged in an arc profile intersecting at a 45-degree angle, creating a playful visual transition. During the day, they serve as a canvas for tree shadows, and at night, they allow indoor light to seep out, forming a light curtain.

"CARI+" Prefabricated Park Experience Space in Shenzhen Bay Park BOX

Led by the iDEA Design Lab of the Tsinghua SIGS Future Habitat Research Institute, it is located in the eastern section of Shenzhen Bay Park. As an important coastal public space in Shenzhen, Shenzhen Bay Park continuously explores the "Park+" multi-use model, introducing cultural, technological, and public service functions. "CARI+" is a modular wooden structure building that can be customized and reconfigured without damaging the grass. It collaborates with vivo to create a digital imaging interaction and product experience space, forming a cross-field between technology and public activities, exploring the practical application possibilities of park public spaces in different usage cycles, spatial reorganization methods, and composite functional organizations.

Container Buildings in Other Shenzhen Parks

• Shenzhen Constitution Park: It introduces the Encounter Library built from assembled containers. Without altering the original natural landscape, it injects elements of the rule of law culture, creating a quiet and comfortable activity space.
• Longhua New Park: It features an irregularly shaped container-style "Yellow House" that serves multiple functions, including offices, public restrooms, book bars, or coffee shops.
