Shanghai Container House Bathroom
There are three main types of container house bathrooms in Shanghai: integrated bathrooms, container bathrooms, and container shower rooms for construction sites, each with its own characteristics and application scenarios.

Integrated bathrooms are suitable for home settings. They involve bringing a container indoors to serve as a bathroom. Their advantages are significant. Lower budget: The construction process is simpler compared to traditional bathrooms, and the combined cost of materials and labor is less than 10,000 yuan to set up. They can also be customized according to the indoor space dimensions and requirements, offering high cost-effectiveness. Shorter construction period: Installation is convenient, and the required construction period is shorter than that of traditional bathrooms.
Container bathrooms are mostly used in public facilities and specific work settings. Based on the standard container structure, they are professionally designed and renovated, integrating sanitary ware, ventilation, lighting, water supply and drainage systems inside, making them movable bathroom units. They have numerous advantages. Modularity and standardization: They adopt internationally standardized container sizes, facilitating standardized production, transportation, and hoisting. Multiple units can be quickly combined to form larger bathroom clusters. Sturdy and durable structure: Inheriting the main structure of steel containers, they are wind-resistant, rain-resistant, theft-resistant, and have good durability, adapting to complex outdoor and temporary site environments. Functional integration: Within the limited container space, facilities such as squat toilets/sit toilets and washbasins are reasonably arranged. The interior is insulated, and waterproof and easy-to-clean wall and floor materials are laid. Rapid deployment and mobility: As independent integral units, they can be transported by trucks and hoisted by cranes, allowing for quick installation and commissioning in a short time. After the event, they can be easily moved away without damaging the original site. They are mainly used in large-scale public events and competitions, construction sites and temporary construction areas, urban temporary public demand areas, emergency rescue, and field operations.
Container shower rooms for construction sites belong to specific work settings. The market is divided into two levels: "basic transportation units" and "precision scenario units," with a widening price gap. Affected by industry standards, fire safety regulations, and workers' rights awareness, the market has split into two tracks. One relies on economies of scale to reduce costs, with the core competition being the ex-factory price. The other requires the integration of multiple systems, with the core competition being integration capabilities and delivery efficiency, resulting in significant price differences for container shower rooms of the same size. Their functional modules are highly refined. Container shower rooms have a high functional density and concentrated customization requirements. To achieve stable operation, no water leakage, no water accumulation, and no frozen pipes, technical issues such as waterproofing of the container floor, drainage slope, and anti-freezing of the water supply and drainage system need to be resolved.
