Self-Welding Mobile Toilet
Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026
Self-welding a mobile toilet requires systematic planning in four aspects: material selection, structural design, process implementation, and compliance with regulations. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Material Selection
- Main Frame Material: Prioritize stainless steel (such as 304 or 316 types) for its strong corrosion resistance, suitable for long-term outdoor use. If cost reduction is needed, galvanized steel pipes can be used, but they must be coated with anti-rust paint on the surface to prevent rusting caused by rain or humid environments.
- Connectors and Accessories: Welding points require electrodes that match the main material (e.g., stainless steel electrodes for stainless steel frames) to ensure welding strength. Screws, hinges, and other accessories should be made of stainless steel or galvanized materials to prevent rusting and maintain structural stability.
- Functional Components: The toilet can choose between a ceramic squat toilet or a plastic toilet seat, with a reserved interface for the flushing pipe. The sink is recommended to be made of stainless steel or ceramic, with a matching faucet that has water-saving features. The ventilation window should be equipped with anti-mosquito mesh, and the exhaust fan should be a low-noise model.
II. Structural Design
- Basic Form: The area of a single toilet is recommended to be 1.2-1.5 square meters, with multi-unit connected toilets expandable according to demand. Modular design facilitates transportation and assembly.
- Functional Zoning: The interior should be divided into a toilet area and a handwashing area, with sufficient space reserved for movement. The door should open inward to avoid occupying external space. A maintenance hatch should be reserved at the top for easy upkeep of the ventilation system or electrical circuits.
- Supporting Systems:
- Ventilation System: Install an exhaust fan on the top or open ventilation windows on the side walls to ensure air circulation.
- Sewage System: The septic tank should be made of fiberglass or plastic with anti-leakage features. Sewage discharge must comply with local environmental protection standards.
- Lighting System: Use waterproof LED lights to prevent short circuits caused by moisture.
- High-End Configurations: Options such as air conditioning, smart sensor flushing, and barrier-free handrails can be added to enhance the user experience.
III. Process Implementation
- Welding Process: Use manual arc welding or gas metal arc welding (such as MIG/MAG welding) to ensure uniform welds without pores. Key connections (such as frame corners) should be fully welded to enhance structural strength.
- Sealing Treatment: After welding, polish the welds and apply anti-rust paint or sealant to prevent rainwater infiltration. Rubber sealing strips should be installed on door and window seams to improve odor control.
- Assembly and Debugging: First, weld the main frame, then install functional components (such as the toilet and sink). Test the lighting, exhaust fan, and other equipment to ensure normal operation.
IV. Compliance with Regulations
- Design Standards: Must comply with the Urban Public Toilet Design Standard (CJJ 14-2016), including requirements for area, ventilation, lighting, and odor control.
- Environmental Requirements: The septic tank must be cleaned regularly, and sewage discharge must be connected to the municipal sewer network or treated to meet discharge standards.
- Safety Inspections: Regularly check for loose welding points and aging sealing strips, and promptly replace worn components (such as flush valves and faucets) to extend service life.
