Self-made Mobile Toilet Squat Type

Quản trị 11 tháng 10, 2026

The self-made mobile toilet squat type can be achieved by modifying a water storage bucket or tank. Here are two specific plans and key operating points:

Plan 1: Water Storage Bucket Modification Method

  1. Basic Structure Construction Split a water storage bucket in half along its central axis and take one half as the main body. Fix a wooden board at the bottom and install universal wheels to ensure mobility. Use wooden strips and self-tapping screws to raise the frame around the bucket body. The height should meet the comfort requirements for squatting (it is recommended to be no less than 40cm). Cut a rectangular opening on the side as a door opening. Stick sponge strips along the edges for cushioning and seal the gaps to prevent odor leakage.

  2. Wall and Roof Installation Insert plastic soft boards as wall materials. Choose waterproof and corrosion-resistant PVC or PE materials and fix them to the frame with buckles or screws. Place the upper half of the water storage bucket on top as the roof and seal the connection with the wall using waterproof glue to prevent rainwater infiltration.

  3. Drainage System Design Drill a hole at the center of the bottom and install a drainage pipe with a recommended diameter of 50mm. Connect it to a PVC straight joint to ensure smooth drainage. Add a water storage bucket on the side as a water tank. Supply water through a water pump or the principle of gravity and connect the water pipe to a simple shower (which can be made by modifying a plastic bottle). The toilet needs to fix the water tank, and the end of the drainage pipe should be connected to a sewage bucket for regular cleaning.

Plan 2: Water Storage Tank Stacking Modification Method

  1. Mobile Chassis Production Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a plastic pallet. Choose metal wheels with strong load-bearing capacity (such as stainless steel). Place a recycled water storage tank (it is recommended to have a capacity of no less than 200L) on the pallet to ensure a stable center of gravity.

  2. Tank Modification and Stacking Cut the top of the water storage tank to form an opening and keep a 10cm width at the edges as a connection surface. Stack two tanks upside down and fix them along the edges with self-tapping screws to form a double-layer structure for enhanced stability. Cut a rectangular opening of 180cm×50cm on the outer frame of the tank as a door opening, and reserve space for installing the door frame.

  3. Internal Facility Installation Drill a hole on the ground and install an elbow water pipe. Connect it to the toilet and seal it with glue to prevent leakage. Fix the water pipe on the wall with buckles, install a faucet and a stainless steel basin as a hand-washing sink, and reserve cold and hot water pipe joints. Connect the water inlet pipe of the toilet water tank and the shower hose, and install a showerhead-style shower to meet the flushing needs.

  4. Door Production and Detail Optimization Cut a wooden board for the door. The size should be slightly smaller than the door opening (leave a 5mm gap). Install hinges to enable the opening and closing function. Choose a rust-proof material (such as zinc alloy) for the door handle and fix it on the outer side of the door. You can also install lighting (such as LED patch lights) and an exhaust fan inside to improve the user experience.

Precautions: Wear protective gloves and goggles when cutting water storage containers to avoid injury from plastic fragments. Seal all connections with waterproof glue to prevent odor diffusion. Regularly check the drainage system to avoid blockages. Both plans can be implemented according to the difficulty of obtaining materials. The water storage bucket plan has a lower cost but a smaller space, while the water storage tank plan has a larger space but requires more tools for support.
