Scenic Area Adds Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026

The addition of mobile toilets in scenic areas can enhance the visitor experience through measures such as location selection and layout, intelligent scheduling, service upgrades, safety management, and cost optimization.

Location Selection and Layout: Precise coverage of pedestrian nodes is required. Based on the scenic area map, mobile toilets should be placed at intervals of 50 - 100 meters in areas such as entrances and exits, viewing platforms, and dining areas. Popular attractions like the Mazu Statue on Meizhou Island and Jiuli Lake Waterfall should have 2 - 3 additional toilet locations. Priority should be given to arranging barrier-free restrooms and母婴室 (mother-and-baby rooms) around dining areas, avoiding main roads and providing concealed pathways for diversion. At the same time, density should be reasonably planned. During peak seasons, the density should be increased near entrances, viewing platforms, and popular trails, with one standard toilet provided for every 500 visitors and a male-to-female toilet ratio of 1:2. Temporary urinals should be added during peak hours. For example, Tianmen Mountain has set up a cluster of mobile toilets beside the glass plank road, reducing queue times by 40%.

Intelligent Scheduling: Establish an online reservation system to monitor the usage of each location in real-time. During peak hours, increase the workforce by 20% and automatically allocate empty toilet stalls in combination with heat maps. Conduct inspections every 2 hours to replenish consumables. Implement data-driven management by tracking the usage frequency of each location at different times, using heat maps to identify areas with high pedestrian traffic, deploying backup toilets in advance, predicting peak demand based on weather and holidays, and flexibly increasing allocations. Establish a visitor feedback mechanism to adjust surrounding service facilities in a timely manner.

Service Upgrades: Add value-added services, such as providing hot water for hand washing and warm air blowers in winter, setting up sunshades and cooling mists in summer, offering free emergency medicine and power bank rentals, and arranging staff for guidance and diversion. Upgrade hardware facilities by using waterproof and anti-slip floors, constant temperature systems, and equipping with special facilities like baby care stations and barrier-free access. Install deodorization systems and smart sensor flushing, and set up green plants beside the toilets for concealment. Optimize service details by launching a "Toilet Navigation" mini-program, arranging regular cleaning by dedicated staff, increasing staff during peak hours to guide queues, providing basic supplies like free toilet paper and hand soap, and equipping some with emergency medicine kits.

Safety Management: Disinfect twice daily in the morning and evening, clear garbage every 4 hours, install surveillance equipment to avoid safety hazards, develop emergency plans, and respond within 30 minutes in case of sudden failures.

Cost Optimization: Adopt a "main leasing + temporary supplementation" model, prepare basic configurations at a ratio of 100:1, reduce idle costs through off-peak leasing, and establish fixed transfer points with scenic areas to reduce transportation distances.
