Rooftop Mobile Toilet Drainage
The drainage methods for rooftop mobile toilets mainly include conventional water-flushing, vacuum sewage systems, water-storage sewage systems, and other innovative approaches.

Conventional Water-Flushing: This is a relatively common drainage method. It requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes, with the sewage discharge process initiated through manual operation or automatic sensing devices. After use, pressing the flush button or the human body approaching the sensing area will cause water to wash away the waste, with the sewage flowing through the pipes to a septic tank or municipal sewer network. This drainage method is suitable for various water-rich environments, such as rooftop areas with a stable water supply and the ability to connect to water supply and drainage pipes. Its construction cost is relatively low, the technology is mature, the operation is simple and easy to understand, and maintenance is relatively convenient.
Vacuum Sewage System: This system operates based on the principle of negative pressure. A vacuum pump generates negative pressure to rapidly draw sewage and waste into a collection container. When the sewage in the collection container reaches a preset water level, the vacuum pump automatically starts to further process or discharge the sewage. This method effectively prevents sewage leakage and odor diffusion, maintaining a clean and hygienic rooftop environment. Moreover, it is highly efficient and uses less water, making it suitable for areas with relatively scarce water resources or places with high hygiene requirements. However, its cost is relatively high, and it has relatively high technical requirements, necessitating professional technicians for installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Water-Storage Sewage System: It flushes waste into a water storage tank through water. When the sewage in the water storage tank reaches a certain volume, i.e., when the tank is full, it needs to be cleaned and replaced. This method is suitable for places with an abundant water supply and easy cleaning, such as rooftops with convenient water access nearby and suitable space and conditions for regular cleaning of the water storage tank.
Other Innovative Approaches: For example, biodegradation technology can convert organic matter in sewage into harmless substances for discharge, which is environmentally friendly. There is also the foam-sealing method, which uses foam instead of flushing, saving water resources and preventing odors, providing more environmentally friendly options for mobile toilet drainage.
It should be noted that rooftops are public spaces, and unauthorized construction (including mobile toilets) without planning approval is suspected of being illegal. If a mobile toilet needs to be installed, it should comply with relevant regulations and go through the approval process.
