Robot Dog Detecting Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 08 tháng 10, 2026

Robot dogs can be used to detect the relevant environment and gas conditions of mobile toilets.

I. Design Features of the Robot Dog
The robot dog employs a waterproof and dirt-resistant wheel-track design, enabling it to maneuver flexibly in complex environments such as the damp floors and stall gaps of public toilets. It can easily reach areas around toilets and pipe connections where gases tend to accumulate, providing a fundamental basis for comprehensive and accurate gas detection.

II. Detection Equipment and Precision Onboard
The detector carried by the robot dog integrates various advanced sensing technologies. For ammonia, it uses an electrochemical sensor with a precision of up to 1 ppm; for hydrogen sulfide detection, it employs a micro fuel cell sensor with a minimum detection limit of 0.1 ppm; for odor detection, it combines a metal oxide sensor array with a resolution of 1 level of odor concentration; and for VOCs detection, it uses a photoionization (PID) sensor capable of achieving ppb-level precision. Additionally, it is equipped with a high-definition camera and temperature and humidity sensors to simultaneously record environmental conditions, providing rich data support for a comprehensive assessment of public toilet environments.

III. Significant Practical Application Effects
During routine inspections, the robot dog monitors key areas such as toilet zones, drainage outlets, and ventilation openings along preset routes. For example, during peak morning hours, it can promptly detect and alarm for excessive ammonia concentrations, enabling maintenance personnel to respond quickly; in underground public toilet areas, it can monitor abnormal increases in hydrogen sulfide concentrations and trigger alarms, helping technicians locate leaks in drainage pipes. After adopting robot dog detection, the environmental management of smart public toilets has been significantly upgraded, with detection efficiency increased by 60%. Tasks that previously required two people per day can now be completed by the robot dog covering the entire area in just two hours. The detection coverage rate has increased from 70% to 100%, successfully预警ing 15 incidents of abnormal gas concentrations, reducing citizen complaints by 45%, and optimizing the operation of the fresh air system based on precise data, resulting in a 30% reduction in energy consumption.
