Rikaze Modular Container House
There is an application of modular container houses in Rikaze, and these houses have multiple advantages, with usage cases in different scenarios locally.

Good seismic performance: In earthquake relief work in Rikaze, modular container houses have played a crucial role. For example, the container panel houses donated by China Railway Construction Corporation to the earthquake-stricken areas in Tibet are made of high-strength steel, offering excellent wind and seismic resistance. The container houses set up at the resettlement site in Xuezhu Village, Cuoguo Township, Dingri County, can also withstand strong earthquakes. Their ceilings and walls are made of Class A fireproof and thermal insulation materials, providing a safe and comfortable living space for the affected people.
Fast and efficient construction: Modular container houses have a significant advantage in construction speed. In Senga Village, Changsuo Township, Dingri City, Rikaze, it takes only a little over 10 minutes for workers to build an activity panel house. When China Communications Construction Group's China Communications First Highway Engineering Group supported Rikaze, multiple resettlement sites were set up in Dingri County and Lazi County. Each container house could accommodate 4 bunk beds, allowing 8 people to live simultaneously, and could be quickly assembled and put into use. This is crucial for timely resettlement of the affected people after the disaster and ensuring their basic living needs.
Diverse application scenarios: In addition to being used for temporary resettlement in earthquake relief, modular container houses also have applications in other scenarios. The infrastructure construction project for pastoral points in Xietongmen County, Rikaze, includes a housing safety container project for herders, funded by the Rural Revitalization Bureau. The interior decoration and installation of small photovoltaic power sources have been completed, and the containers are being gradually transported to various pastoral points, solving the housing problems of the herders.
In line with the trend of green construction: Modular buildings complete most of the processes in the factory, and the on-site assembly stage does not generate large-scale noise and construction waste, highlighting their low-carbon and environmentally friendly advantages. For example, in the modular houses of China Construction Steel Structure Corporation, the factory disassembles the entire building into several independent space units and completes more than 80% of the processes, such as the main structure, interior decoration, and mechanical and electrical pipeline layout, in the workshop. After the houses arrive at the designated location, only a small amount of work, such as module assembly and water and electricity connection, is required before they can be put into use, which is in line with the current development requirements of green construction.
