Requirements for Side Panel Materials of Container Houses

Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026

The requirements for side panel materials of container houses are as follows:

Common Materials:

  1. High-strength Steel: Represented by Q235 and weather-resistant steel SPA-H, it features high strength, corrosion resistance, and hardness. It can effectively withstand transportation vibrations and impacts, ensuring the shell remains undistorted and crack-free, with a long service life and low maintenance costs.
  2. Aluminum Alloy: Lightweight yet strong, with excellent corrosion resistance and an attractive appearance. Its lightweight nature reduces vehicle weight, lowers fuel consumption, improves transportation efficiency, and offers outstanding environmental performance.
  3. Iron-Plastic Composite Material: Combines the wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and scratch resistance of iron with the low density, vibration resistance, and corrosion resistance of plastic, extending the container's lifespan while ensuring normal use.
  4. Galvanized Sheet and Cold-Rolled Sheet: High-quality materials suitable for standard shipping containers and container house wall panels, meeting basic structural requirements.

Material Performance Requirements:

  1. Corrosion Resistance: Must withstand environmental conditions such as humidity, salt spray, and chemical pollution during transportation and storage to prevent material rusting or degradation.
  2. Strength Requirements: Must possess sufficient impact and vibration resistance to ensure structural safety during stacking, lifting, and long-distance transportation.

Specification Requirements:

  1. Thickness: The common specification is 1.6mm, but it can also be customized to thicknesses ranging from 1.0-2.0mm to meet different needs.
  2. Width: Standard specifications include 1116mm and 1200mm, which must match the container frame.
  3. Length: Standard lengths are 2400mm and 2700mm, with customization available based on customer requirements.

Other Requirements:

  1. Corrugated Design: For standard 1.6mm thick side panels, the wave height is 36mm, with a top wave width of 72mm, a bottom wave width of 70mm, a slope width of 68mm, a rounded corner angle of R5 at bends, and a wave width of 208mm.
  2. Welding Allowance: Both sides of the side panel must have a 37mm flat area reserved for welding connections between side panels, ensuring structural tightness.

These requirements integrate material performance, structural strength, and process details. Appropriate materials must be selected based on actual usage scenarios (such as transportation environment and climatic conditions), and specifications must be strictly followed to ensure the durability and safety of container houses.
