Rental Container House Installation
The installation of rental container houses requires special attention to four core aspects: structural selection, ground treatment, lifting and positioning, and concealed works. Here are the specific installation points:

1. Structural Type Selection and Quality Verification
Container houses come in two main structural types: welded integral containers and bolt-connected modular containers. Welded containers have strong resistance to deformation and are suitable for frequent lifting and moving scenarios. For modular containers, it is essential to inspect the wall thickness of the steel columns and bottom beams (common specifications range from 1.5 to 3 millimeters) and the tightness of the connection nodes. Under extreme conditions, it is crucial to prioritize verifying the product's wind and earthquake resistance test reports. For example, the Suzhou Zhongnan packing container can withstand winds of up to Level 12 and earthquakes of up to Level 8, while the Tianjin Yufada ordinary container house can only withstand winds of Level 9 and earthquakes of Level 6. Non-standard, unbranded products have a deformation rate exceeding 1.2%, posing safety hazards.
2. Ground Foundation Treatment
The contact area between the container's bottom beam and the ground is limited, so the foundation type should be selected based on the usage scenario:
- Long-term fixed use: Pour a concrete strip foundation with a width of 30-50 centimeters and a depth determined by the thickness of the frozen soil layer. The top surface level error should be ≤5 millimeters.
- Short-term temporary use: Use prefabricated concrete blocks or steel pads with a spacing of ≤2 meters, and lay a gravel leveling layer underneath.
Placing the container directly on soft soil can lead to uneven settlement, causing door and window deformation and wall cracks.
3. Lifting and Positioning and Level Calibration
During lifting, use steel wire ropes with sufficient load-bearing capacity to ensure that all lifting points are subjected to force simultaneously, avoiding unilateral force that could distort the container. After positioning, immediately check the fit between the bottom beam and the foundation pads. Use thin steel sheets to fill any local gaps and use a level to check the longitudinal and transverse levelness, with an error controlled within 2 millimeters per meter.
4. Concealed Works and Ancillary Facility Installation
Concealed works include water and electricity installation, as well as moisture and waterproofing treatments, which should be completed and inspected during construction to avoid rework later. For example, container houses should have a reserved drainage system using PVC pipes as rainwater pipes; electrical circuits should be equipped with leakage protection devices and grounding connectors. Additionally, air conditioning, lighting, tables, and chairs can be installed as needed. Some products, like the Suzhou Zhongnan packing container, come with pre-installed interiors and can be put into use immediately after on-site lifting.
