Railway Mobile Toilet
Railway mobile toilets are movable facilities suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, and other places, providing toilet services for the public and customers.

I. Basic Types and Materials Railway mobile toilets are mainly divided into two categories: eco-friendly toilets and mobile toilets. The materials include stainless steel, light steel, color-coated steel plates, etc. Some products support customization on demand, with brands covering Runlong, Xincheng, Zhicheng, etc. For example, the Runlong eco-friendly mobile toilet in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, is priced at 1000 yuan per unit; the Hanbangda mobile toilet in Yinchuan, Ningxia, is priced at 1500 yuan per unit; and the Zhicheng waterless flushing mobile toilet in Changzhou, Jiangsu, is priced at 800 yuan per unit. Prices vary depending on the merchant and configuration.
II. Structure and Functional Design Mobile toilets consist of fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices, etc. They can be classified into single-unit structures and composite structures based on their structural forms; into hoisting and handling types and powered towing types based on their mobility methods; and into water-flushing types, waterless flushing and suction types, circulating water-flushing types, and dry-packing types based on their sewage treatment methods. For example, the dry-packing type does not require a water source and is suitable for water-scarce environments; the circulating water-flushing type achieves water resource reuse through biodegradation technology.
III. Core Advantages and Application Scenarios Their core advantages include:
- Mobility: They can be quickly deployed to temporary events, construction sites, or disaster relief sites, reducing the waste of resources from the demolition of fixed facilities.
- Flexible treatment methods: Water-flushing, waterless flushing, or dry-packing technologies can be selected according to environmental constraints. For example, tourist attractions often adopt eco-friendly types to avoid soil pollution.
- Small footprint: Compared with traditional toilets, land occupation is reduced by about 50%, making them suitable for places with limited space.
- Factory prefabrication and rapid installation: The main body is produced in the factory, and only assembly is required on-site, shortening the construction period and reducing construction noise.
IV. Special Rectification and Facility Upgrades for Train Toilets In addition to mobile toilets at stations, the "mobile toilets" on trains have also improved service quality through special rectification. For example, the China Railway Zhengzhou Bureau Group has carried out in-depth disinfection of toilets in stations and trains, and some train toilets have added green plants, sachets, and other cozy facilities. High-speed train toilets are usually located at one end of the carriage, offering both squat and sit toilets, equipped with basic facilities such as toilet paper, push-button hand-washing devices, and trash bins. Some train models also have additional facilities such as disposable toilet seat covers, drinking water equipment, power outlets, and barrier-free toilets to meet the needs of special groups.
