Qujing Public Mobile Toilets
Qujing City has new plans, rental services, and various types of public mobile toilets available.

New Mobile Toilet Plans
Previously, there were no public toilets around the Jin Yu Lan Yuan food street in the Economic Development Zone. The management committee of the Economic Development Zone has approved the addition of one mobile toilet on the south side of Ruihe West Road (at the north entrance of Jin Yu Lan Yuan). Currently, the procurement of the toilet is progressing in an orderly manner. During the period before this toilet is put into use, residents nearby can use the public toilet at No. 2 Xuefu Road (at the entrance of Yin Yi Village, next to Yun Kang Hotel).
Mobile Toilet Rental Services
There are several merchants in Qujing offering mobile toilet rental services, covering areas such as Qilin and Zhanyi. These services can be applied in various scenarios, such as concerts, music festivals, construction sites, auto shows/exhibitions, etc. Merchants provide 24-hour hourly rental services, and some merchants have served a large number of people in the past year. For example, Manager Wang (from Nanjing Yibingsi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.) served 866 people in the past year, and Mr. Jiang (from Guangdong Nanfeng Building Materials Trading Co., Ltd.) served 300 people.
Mobile Toilet Manufacturers and Product Features
There are enterprises in Qujing specializing in the production of mobile toilets. Their products are characterized by easy mobility and reusability, typically using a combination of steel structure bodies and composite panels. They are produced in a standardized and modular manner in factories and then transported to designated locations for rapid installation. The main types and features are as follows:
- Flushable Mobile Toilets: The most common type, equipped with standard sanitary ware, water tanks, and sewage outlets inside. They require connection to municipal water supply and sewage networks or independent water storage and sewage collection devices. The user experience is close to that of traditional fixed toilets, with relatively high comfort, suitable for parks, streets, fixed venues, and other places with water and electricity infrastructure.
- Waterless Packing Mobile Toilets: No water source is required. Degradable film packing bags are placed under the toilet. After use, an automatic or manual device packs and seals the excreta, collecting them in a sewage storage tank below. This eliminates dependence on water resources and is suitable for water-scarce areas, temporary event sites, or construction sites.
- Biodegradable Mobile Toilets: Microbial strain treatment technology is introduced. After excreta enter the treatment tank, they are decomposed by specific microorganisms into carbon dioxide, water vapor, and a small amount of harmless residue. This is environmentally friendly and produces almost no odor, with relatively low frequency of subsequent cleaning. However, it requires higher technical maintenance.
- Vacuum Environmental Protection Mobile Toilets: Vacuum pipe negative pressure suction technology is used. Each flush requires only a very small amount of water (usually less than 1 liter), resulting in significant water-saving effects. The system is well-sealed and effectively prevents odor diffusion. However, the initial equipment cost and maintenance complexity are relatively high.
