Qingpu Portable Toilets

There are two newly built portable toilets in Qingpu District, namely Baolong Public Toilet and the New Public Toilet in the Industrial Park. They feature fast construction speed, flexible site selection, and comprehensive upgrades in functions and services.

Basic Information

The Baolong Public Toilet covers an area of approximately 160 square meters and was completed in May 2024. It is located in a park, surrounded by two large business districts and multiple residential areas, enhancing the配套设施 (supporting facilities) of the 15-minute living circle. The new public toilet in the industrial park covers an area of about 200 square meters and is situated at the intersection of Xin'xie Road and Huacai Road. Completed in February this year, it is surrounded by numerous logistics companies, providing convenience for truck drivers, couriers, and other groups, and filling the gap in sanitation facilities in the surrounding area.

Internal Facilities

The internal layouts of both public toilets are reasonable and well-equipped. Emphasis is placed on increasing the proportion of female toilet stalls, with smart displays in each stall. A third toilet is provided, equipped with child and adult toilets, urinals, etc. For mothers with infants, there are baby care stations and toddler seats. For the elderly and disabled, additional facilities such as toilet grab bars and sink grab bars have been installed. There are also seats for rest and convenient facilities such as wheelchairs and canes. A smart public toilet system is installed at the entrance, providing real-time feedback on toilet stall usage, temperature, humidity, and other environmental data.

Function and Service Upgrades

Both public toilets are equipped with sanitation rest rooms, providing rest areas for sanitation workers. The rest rooms are fully equipped with air conditioners, sofas, tables and chairs, as well as refrigerators, microwaves, and kettles. The new public toilet in the industrial park has also specially created a driver's lounge in response to the needs of surrounding truck drivers, offering sofas for short rests and areas for heating meals and charging mobile phones, further enhancing the service functions of the public toilet.
