Process Portable Toilet

Quản trị 20 tháng 9, 2026

The process portable toilet is a portable sanitation facility that integrates materials science, structural design, and environmental protection technology. Its core processes cover three major modules: material selection, structural design, and sewage disposal.

I. Material Selection: Balancing Durability and Functionality

Portable toilets are exposed to outdoor environments for extended periods, requiring materials that are corrosion-resistant, impact-resistant, and easy to clean.

  • Shell Materials: High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is the mainstream choice due to its excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and UV rays, as well as its lightweight nature and ease of processing, making it suitable for mass production. Fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) offers high strength but is heavier, often used in fixed installations. Stainless steel is resistant to salt spray corrosion and is commonly found in coastal or high-end applications.
  • Interior Walls and Floors: These must be slip-resistant, stain-resistant, and easy to clean. Slip-resistant aluminum plates enhance friction through surface embossing. Engineering plastics like PVC are cost-effective but have weaker heat resistance. FRP floors offer excellent overall performance but come at a higher price.

II. Structural Design and Process Details: Emphasis on Modularity and Sealing

Portable toilets have compact interior spaces (typically 2-3 square meters), necessitating efficient layout of functional components and ensuring structural stability.

  • Modular Design: The toilet is divided into independent modules such as walls, roofs, and fixtures, facilitating transportation and on-site assembly, and shortening construction periods.
  • Sealing Treatment: Seams are sealed with silicone strips or waterproof coatings to prevent rainwater infiltration, which could cause internal corrosion, and to block odor leakage.
  • Ventilation System: Combining natural ventilation (top exhaust vents) with mechanical ventilation (small fans), negative pressure principles are used to accelerate air circulation, reducing stuffiness and odor concentration.

III. Sewage Disposal and Environmental Protection Treatment: Diverse Technologies for Different Scenarios

Depending on usage needs and environmental conditions, portable toilets can employ the following sewage disposal methods:

  • Flush Type: Relies on a sewage tank to store waste, with tank volume (typically 200-500L) determining the frequency of emptying. Regular pumping to sewage treatment plants is required.
  • Waterless Type:
    • Biodegradable Type: Utilizes microorganisms to decompose waste, requiring temperature (20-40°C) and humidity control to maintain bacterial activity, with a degradation cycle of about 3-6 months.
    • Incineration Type: Converts waste into ash through high temperatures (600-800°C), necessitating safety devices to prevent gas leaks.
  • Dry Packaging Type: Uses biodegradable plastic bags to collect waste, requiring no water or electricity support, suitable for areas without infrastructure, but necessitating regular replacement of consumables.

Reputable manufacturers will label key parameters (such as sewage tank capacity, degradation efficiency, and emission standards) in product descriptions and provide maintenance training to ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment.
