Reinforcement Specification for Prefabricated Slab Houses

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

The reinforcement specification for prefabricated slab houses mainly includes various reinforcement methods and construction precautions. It is necessary to scientifically select a plan and strictly implement it according to the actual damage situation and design requirements of the house.

I. Common Reinforcement Methods

  1. Foundation Reinforcement
    Increase the foundation size, deepen the foundation, or install steel reinforcement mesh to enhance the foundation's bearing capacity; add reinforcement agents or sealing materials to improve seismic performance. Applicable to cases of foundation settlement or insufficient bearing capacity.

  2. Wall and Floor Reinforcement

    • Grouting Reinforcement: Inject cement-based grout into cracks in walls or foundations to fill voids and enhance overall integrity.
    • Steel Reinforcement Mesh/Steel Plate Reinforcement: Lay steel reinforcement mesh or adhere steel plates to the surface of walls or floors, fixed with structural adhesive, to improve flexural and shear resistance.
    • Carbon Fiber Sheet Reinforcement: For fine cracks or slightly insufficient bearing capacity, adhere carbon fiber sheets to the underside of the slab to increase flexural capacity.
    • Additional Steel Beam Support: Install additional steel beams beneath severely damaged floors or those requiring a significant increase in bearing capacity to share the load.
    • Overlay Composite Layer Reinforcement: Chisel off the original leveling layer, lay steel reinforcement mesh, and pour high-strength fine aggregate concrete to form a composite structural layer.
  3. Overall Structural Strengthening

    • Slab Joint Treatment: Insert tie bars at the joints of prefabricated slabs or add angle steel or concrete edge beams to enhance horizontal connections.
    • Monolithic Pouring Layer on Slab Surface: Lay steel reinforcement mesh on the slab surface and pour fine aggregate concrete to form a monolithic load-bearing layer, improving seismic performance.
  4. Crack Repair and Local Strengthening

    • Non-structural cracks should be sealed with epoxy resin pressure grouting;
    • Areas with local concrete spalling should be cleaned and restored with high-strength repair materials.

II. Construction Precautions

  1. Material and Plan Selection
    Select appropriate reinforcement materials (such as carbon fiber sheets, structural adhesive, steel, etc.) and processes according to the house's functional requirements, damage degree, and design specifications to avoid blind construction.

  2. Construction Detail Control

    • Ensure that carbon fiber sheets are fully adhered to the slab surface without voids;
    • Ensure tight connections without gaps when installing steel structural collars or adhering steel plates;
    • Strictly prohibit random drilling or chiseling of the original structure; explore the locations of pipelines and steel bars before construction.
  3. Quality Inspection and Acceptance
    After reinforcement is completed, use ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, and other methods to verify structural strength; focus on inspecting connection nodes, material bonding quality, and overall deformation.

  4. Environmental and Safety Control

    • Take noise reduction and dust prevention measures during construction to minimize the impact on the surrounding environment;
    • Set up protective nets for high-altitude operations to ensure personnel safety.
  5. Post-Maintenance Management
    Regularly inspect the reinforced areas for cracks, deformation, or corrosion, and repair them promptly; avoid concentrating heavy loads or applying impact loads in the reinforced areas.
