Reinforcement of Floor Slabs in Prefabricated Slab Houses
Reinforcement methods for floor slabs in prefabricated slab houses include bonding carbon fiber sheets, adding steel beams, bonding steel plates to slabs, increasing slab cross-sections, and steel section reinforcement. Details are as follows:

Bonding Carbon Fiber Sheets for Reinforcement: When the load on the floor slabs of prefabricated slab houses increases slightly, bonding carbon fiber sheets is a suitable reinforcement method. During operation, the carbon fiber sheets should be precisely bonded to the tensioned parts of the slabs in the direction of the prefabricated slabs, and anchor points should be set at the top. Carbon fiber sheets have advantages such as high strength and corrosion resistance. This method can effectively improve the load-bearing capacity of the slabs and enhance their resistance to external forces.
Adding Steel Beams for Reinforcement: Adding steel beams at the bottom of the slabs is an effective way to change the stress distribution of hollow slabs. Installing structural components such as steel beams, steel columns, and steel plates at important parts such as walls, stairs, and roofs can increase the overall strength and stiffness of the house. The newly added steel beams can share the load borne by the slabs, making the stress on the slabs more uniform and reasonable, thereby improving the safety of the slabs.
Bonding Steel Plates to Slabs for Reinforcement: For flexural structural slabs, bonding steel plates can increase the load-bearing capacity of the slabs. However, this method has certain limitations. Before reaching the ultimate state, the steel plates cannot be directly poured with the concrete, which is prone to peeling and detachment problems. Therefore, when using this method, effective anchoring measures should be taken to ensure a firm and reliable connection between the steel plates and the slabs.
Increasing Slab Cross-Sections for Reinforcement: Adding a reinforced concrete adhesive layer with a thickness of no less than 40 mm on the surface and bottom of the prefabricated slabs is also an effective way to improve the load-bearing capacity of the slabs. The added reinforced concrete adhesive layer can enhance the integrity and stiffness of the slabs, enabling them to better bear the load and reduce the possibility of cracks and deformations in the slabs.
Steel Section Reinforcement Method: Setting steel sections along the four corners at the bottom of the prefabricated slabs and transforming the slabs into octagonal supports can effectively improve the load-bearing capacity of the slabs. Steel sections have high strength and stiffness. By reasonably setting the steel sections, the stress system of the slabs can be changed, making the slabs more stable and reliable when bearing the load.
